MISSIONAND MAIN ACTIVITIES
ACTIVITIES PRINCIPLE
Activity monitoring and goal setting
He describes and analyzes his activity in his environment (operating indicators, evaluation of procedures, etc.), evaluates the quality of care in the hospital on a quarterly basis and ensures that this is also done at the level of the CSIs.
- Participates in the collection, analysis of medical activity data and drawing of the medical report for the project.

Organization of HOSPITAL and Pediatries activities (in collaboration ++
with the major of pediatrics MoH)
Organize and determine the activities of the HOSPITAL and pediatrics
Plan and implement the activities of the service taking into account the identified needs, in order to ensure continuity in the progress of the service
Ensure coordination in planning the follow-up of children by delegating the various tasks to nurses, nutritional assistants and caregivers.
Support Major MOH in the development of the HOSPITAL /paediatrics staff schedule, ensuring that the planned staff is at their post and recruiting day laborers to replace those absent when needed
Assist staff in organizing and planning their work
Know the tasks of the HOSPITAL /paediatrics staff, ensure their proper execution and help to carry them out if necessary
Participate in health assessment and emergency response missions occurring in the health district
Supervision of the Hospital team (nurses, nutritional assistants, caregivers, hygienists, etc.)
Make every morning on arrival and every evening before departure a complete tour of the phases to ensure that everything is working normally
Supervise the work of team members according to the tasks assigned to them, and readjust if necessary
Supervise admission and discharge consultations, and ensure compliance with entry and exit criteria at the HOSPITAL /pediatrics as well as transfers between the different phases
Ensure that the operation of the HOSPITAL / pediatrics is explained to new employees and accompanies them in their tasks
Control, raise awareness and train teams to respect hygiene measures and ensure that the HfiPITALPED is well cleaned
Supervision of written and oral communications within the team and between teams:
Provides written transmissions of all specific events that have taken place during the working day in the service (new admissions, transfers to CNAS, deaths) and makes sure that the teams make transmissions at the time-of-service handover
Verification of the availability and integrity of the equipment made available to the teams
Control the list provided by the pharmacy and ensure that it is consistent with existing equipment
Control the management of pharmacies of the different phases, their stocks of drugs and equipment and the weekly distribution of inputs
Ensure the maintenance of biomedical equipment, so that it is in good working order
Report to the pharmacy manager of any damaged or broken equipment
Organization and facilitation of ongoing staff training
Organize training sessions for paramedical staff(nurses, nutritional assistants, caregivers and internal hygienists) in conjunction with all stakeholders (Referring doctor, MOH doctors, Major pediatrics, logistics team)
Plan and carry out the assessment of the people under his responsibility
Supervision of health education for mothers
Supervise health education activities and verify the relevance of messages disseminated to mothers
Help in choosing the topics to be covered according to demand and needs Evaluate the understanding of the messages transmitted
Supervision of HIV testing activities
Ensure that any patient diagnosed positive is entrusted for medical care to the MOH and ensure follow-up during their stay at the HOSPITAL.
Supervision of the proper application of the dietary protocol for children and accompanying persons
Control and verify the quality and quantity of rations given to beneficiaries
Ensure compliance with dietary protocols and meal times
Patient support
Ensure the good reception of mothers/children and the strict respect of their dignity
Facilitate exchanges and strengthen reception and information for families
Ensure the vaccination of all children admitted to the HOSPITAL/Paediatrics before their discharge
Compilation of weekly statistics for HOSPITAL/Pediatrics evaluation
Verifies that data collection is carried out daily (admissions, discharges, transfer to CNAS, etc.) on the admissions/discharges register, by checking via the therapeutic sheets, and writes the weekly data collection
Oversees the quality of data collection on nutritional registers and sheets
Ensures the consistency of the figures collected and transmits them to the data manager
Provides a detailed analysis of his activities and encodes the data in the HOSPITAL/PEDIATRIC activity tracking file.
Collaboration with the teams of other partners
Ensure the follow-up of children transferred from the CNAS or Integrated Health Center to the HOSPITAL/Pediatrics or vice versa in conjunction with the managers and partners working in the other health centres.
National Staff Health
Ensure implementation and adherence to universal infection prevention and control precautions by all staff in the various HOSPITAL/paediatrics workplaces
Refers to the referring physician or responsible for pediatrics, all cases of accidental exposure to blood
Make sure with the referring doctor or head of pediatrics that all ALIMA staff are up to date with their mandatory vaccinations
Rapid Response to Emergencies
Participate in health assessment missions in the district
Ensure emergency care in the response mechanism put in place
Others
