Missions & Activities
Ensure the completeness and accuracy of accounting and financial information in the company’s financial statements in accordance with the accounting and tax regulations in force

• Ensure the capture of the completeness of financial information in the financial statements according to the applicable framework (PCEC) and in compliance with the regulations in force (MINFI, COBAC, CEMAC …)
• Ensure the correct implementation and translation of tax provisions in accounting and financial activity
• Process and enter all accounting data in the accounting software
• Prepare periodic accounting and tax documents (Balance, Financial Statements, Balance Sheet, General Ledger, Table of Uses, Resources, Monthly Declarations, Statistical and Tax Declarations)
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports and expenditure estimates, under the direction of the Head of Department
• Guarantee the timely archiving of accounting, tax and financial information carriers …

Ensure compliance of controls inherent to the perimeter

• Make an inventory of perimeter controls
• Ensure the review of controls and invariants inherent to the activity and compliance with their production deadline
• Ensure timely reporting of regulatory statements
• Carry out unannounced checks and document them
• Perform updates to perimeter control sheets
• Follow up on the recommendations of internal and external control missions as well as their reporting

Ensure the formalization of the accounting and tax procedures of the perimeter

• Make an inventory of the accounting and tax procedures of the perimeter
• Carry out their updating, formalization and popularization

Interact with stakeholders in the reporting and transmission of accounting, tax and financial information

• Ensure the planning and monitoring of recurring missions (statutory auditors, tax audits, elements of boards and assemblies
• Prepare decision support materials for various stakeholders
• Ensure the production and monitoring of inputs
• Ensure timely reporting of statements, accounting, regulatory and tax

Participate in perimeter projects and ensure team coaching

• Contribute to the accounting migration process (interfaces with other IS)
• Oversee perimeter projects
• Ensure effective coaching of resources
• Guarantee the proper performance of the accounting and tax department

Ensure the regulatory and fiscal accounting watch of the perimeter

• Follow the evolution of regulatory texts inherent to the sector of activity, update KPIs and management dashboards
• In conjunction with our tax advisors, ensure tax monitoring and updating of tax management tools, risk mapping, taxes and duties in the information systems
• Raising users’ awareness of the effects of regulatory changes

Qualifications

• Education: BAC +5 in Accounting / Administration and Management
• Experience: 4 years in a similar position
