REQUIRED PROFILES: PERMANENT INSPECTORS TRAINEE
INTERNSHIP DURATION: 3 months, possibly renewable

PLACE OF ASSIGNMENT: Antennas and Technical Assistance Offices (BAT) of MUFID Union of
Bafoussam, Douala, Garoua, Bamenda and Yaoundé
HIERARCHICAL SUPERVISION: Head of the Permanent Control, Compliance and
Risk
MISSION: The trainee controller’s main mission is to ensure, within the Antennas and
Technical Assistance Offices (BAT) of MUFID Union, the regular control of accounting documents transmitted by the
MUFIDs. He ensures the integrity, compliance and security of the financial transactions carried out. In support of the
antenna controller, he can be mobilized to participate in on-site control missions, thus contributing to the
strengthening of the network’s permanent control system.
ACTIVITIES
Reception and management of accounting documents
– Ensure the regular reception of accounting documents transmitted by the MUFIDs in the intervention area.
– Check the completeness and compliance of batches of documents received.
Analysis and processing of accounting documents
– Sort, sort and organize accounting documents in accordance with
internal procedures;
– Carry out rigorous control of documents, verifying their regularity, their compliance with
accounting standards and MUFID network procedures.
Securing and monitoring accounting documents
– Guarantee the proper conservation, confidentiality and integrity of accounting documents throughout the
processing period;
– Ensure, if necessary, the return of accounting documents to the relevant MUFIDs, ensuring traceability
and the correct delivery of documents.
Support for field control missions
– Participate, under the supervision of the branch controller, in control missions carried out within the
MUFIDs (physical checks, reconciliations, interviews, etc.);
– Contribute to the drafting of mission reports and reports, in support of the control team;
– Etc.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND REQUIRED SKILLS
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Academic background: Hold a Bac +3 level diploma in Accounting, Management, Banking Finance or any other relevant related field. A Baccalaureate G2 is strongly recommended.

Professional experience: Demonstrate professional experience of at least three (03) months, ideally
in a position related to accounting, auditing, internal control or banking operations. (A
experience gained within a microfinance institution or a financial institution is a
significant asset.)
TECHNICAL SKILLS
• Have knowledge of accounting standards
• Be able to analyze financial statements, interpret ratios, in order to assess financial health;
• Have a perfect knowledge of Financial, Operational and Normative Risk Management;
• Sense of organization and ability to manage several tasks simultaneously;
• Have the ability to communicate financial information to stakeholders
• Mastery of IT tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher) and accounting software.

• Have good oral and written communication skills;
• Know how to meet deadlines, be rigorous and precise;
• Know how to deal with emergency situations;
• Act with honesty, ethics and transparency;
• Be reliable and trustworthy in your control responsibilities;
