PROCUREMENT MANAGER (M/F)

The company Europe Afrique Services (EAS), specialized in
human resources management, is recruiting for the needs of its client, a large
company importing and marketing wines and
food products, a Procurement Manager for a permanent contract.
RESPONSIBILITIES The Procurement Manager is responsible for coordinating inventory monitoring, purchasing, import and logistics
activities from the supplier’s site to the port of Douala / Kribi. Collaborate closely with suppliers and various external and internal service providers, so that supply chains are optimized and costs are competitive while maintaining a high quality of the products and services acquired. TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Analysis: • Analyze the company’s procurement needs and plan orders accordingly, • Monitor, control and update the inventory monitoring tool (dashboard) weekly. • Collaborate with warehouse departments and sales teams to anticipate needs • Set up and monitor procurement -related performance indicators (KPIs) • Participate in developing the procurement budget and ensure compliance with budgetary constraints. Orders: • Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best price, quality and delivery time conditions • Place orders • Evaluate supplier performance and reliability criteria • Propose sourcing strategies to diversify and secure supply sources • Launch quote requests from freight forwarders in order to choose the shipping company and routing likely to obtain the most competitive price possible in relation to the stocks available in our warehouses • Ensure that deliveries comply with orders • Ensure that procurement processes comply with current standards and regulations. Documentation: • Ensure the administrative management of orders and contracts with suppliers • Ensure the monitoring of the documentation necessary for customs clearance of goods (invoices, bill of lading, packing list, EX A, etc.) • Ensure the monitoring of the documentation necessary for the processing and clearance of bank transfers required by the BEAC
• Ensure the smooth running of transit, from the port of embarkation to
Douala/Kribi.
Supplier relations:
• Monitor the payment of supplier accounts (producers,
logistics providers, inspections, etc.)
• Manage returns and complaints to suppliers in the event of non-conformity of products or services
• Organize and lead meetings with suppliers to discuss
performance and possible improvements in coordination with
management.
Reporting:
• Ensure daily, weekly and monthly reporting on activity
and developments
• Hold weekly meetings with management
Company and brand ambassador:
• Proudly represent and defend the interests of the company and brands
at all times, regardless of location
• Convey a positive image of the brand, through impeccable behavior
.
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS
• Level of experience: minimum 05 years of experience, in companies
with considerable know-how in maritime transport and
import / export activities
• Others:
o Good knowledge of the office pack (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
o Good analytical skills
o Mastery of the import process in Cameroon
o Relationship with maritime transport stakeholders in Cameroon
o Knowledge of Cameroon customs regulations
LEVEL OF EDUCATION
• Bac + 4 minimum (ideally in transport and logistics)

• French: fluent
• English: fluent
