PROJECT ACCOUNTANT NEEDED AT RFPSL

The REGIONAL FUND FOR THE PROMOTION OF COASTAL HEALTH (RFPSL) is recruiting a Project Accountant

RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the Accountant will have the following roles and responsibilities:

• Ensure the integrity of accounting information through reviews to address compliance and quality issues of operations and financial reporting.
• Lead the budget preparation and review process
• Perform monthly social security tax returns and track their payment
• Reconcile daily, monthly and annual transactions.
• Conduct periodic financial analysis to detect and resolve issues.
• Review and analyze supporting documentation for financial transactions to ensure that all required documents are accurate and complete.
• Record financial transactions after obtaining appropriate authorizations, Review various accounts for irregularities.
• Be a key point of contact for other departments and donors on financial and accounting matters.
• Prepare various periodic financial reports as required and conduct gap analyses to facilitate decision-making and appropriate management of financial resources.
• Perform assigned treasury tasks (payment/fundraising, cash flow forecasting, etc.) if segregation of duties is ensured.

PROFILE

• Hold a Bac + 3 diploma in the field of accounting
• Have at least 3 years of professional experience in a similar public health project
• Be able to communicate in French and English
