REQUIRED PROFILE
Graduate of a BTS in Executive Secretarial
/Administrative Techniques (TA) and/or a
degree in TA, IT management or
project management.
At least five (05)
years of professional experience in a similar position in an
international environment or in an NGO that has received
international funding.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
in French. English would be an
asset.
Very good command of office tools (Word,
Excel, Powerpoint) and digital communication.
Strong versatility, dynamism, availability, rigor,
discretion.
Very good ability to adapt and manage
priorities, work organization and autonomy,
as well as simultaneous monitoring of several tasks.
Very good interpersonal skills and ability to work in
a multicultural environment.

NATIONAL CONTRACT – YAOUNDE –
PROJECT ASSISTANT
What will your role be?
The Yaoundé Agency of the French Development Agency (AFD) is structured around
several divisions. The Project Assistant’s main mission will be to assist and provide
support to the project managers and project managers of the “Rural Sector and Environment” Division
in the instruction, implementation and monitoring of projects.
Under the supervision of the Division Manager, the Project Assistant supports the implementation,
monitoring and administrative management of projects. He/she will also interact with local teams,
institutional partners and external service providers.
ACTIVITIES
Communication on activities within the Division:
– Proofreading and compliance of documents.
– Support in writing and formatting sectoral fact sheets and notes.
– Organization and monitoring of communication events.
– Management of requests (funding, partnerships, meetings, internships, interviews).
Participation in project monitoring:
– Support in setting up and financing projects.
– Writing and updating monitoring documents (reports, minutes, presentations).
– Monitoring of dashboards and information systems.
– Document management and archiving.
– Monitoring deadlines and coordinating with stakeholders.
– Contributing to the production of project completion reports.
Organization of missions, travel and meetings:
– Coordination of missions of the Headquarters and Agency teams (logistics, security,
organization, mission orders).
– Making appointments and monitoring.
– Organization of meetings and drafting associated documents.
Management of the agenda of mission managers and project managers:
– Making appointments, reconfirming external appointments.
– Planning and updating the shared agenda. –
Making and confirming appointments.
– Transmission of messages and alerts.
– Planning and coordinating travel with logistics.
– Relations with the Embassy and coordination with stakeholders.
– Liaise with local stakeholders, consultants and teams in
France to ensure the cohesion and effectiveness of the actions undertaken.
Mail management:
– Initiation/drafting of responses to various requests (requests for funding,
assistance, invitations, etc.).
– Drafting of response letters to Notices of No Objection (ANO).
– Recording, processing and distribution of mail from the Center.
Who are we looking for?
The candidate must have the following qualifications:

historic agency, rich in its long-standing and quality relationships with its counterparts. Under
the direction of the regional management based in Douala, the Yaoundé agency is
made up of a team of 28 people (including 3 service providers). Following a retirement
