Background
Impact Santé Afrique (ISA) is an African non-governmental organization
based in Cameroon whose main objective is to contribute to the improvement of the health
of populations by implementing transformative and sustainable programs (for more
information, visit www.impactsante.org). Impact Santé Afrique (ISA) coordinates the
global platform of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) for the elimination of
malaria (CS4ME). ISA is looking for a Public Health Volunteer based in Yaoundé,
Cameroon.
Job description and main responsibilities:
Under the responsibility of the Senior Advocacy Officer, he/she will carry out all the functions
within his/her responsibilities and all those assigned to him/her by the Management.
In this capacity, he/she will ensure, in particular, the following roles and responsibilities:
Assist the management or advocacy team in various
logistical or operational support tasks;
Support the organization of meetings and workshops related to advocacy;
Support note-taking during meetings;
Participate in research and data collection necessary for
advocacy actions;
Participate in the development of ISA documents;
Participate in the implementation of certain administrative tasks (Writing of
thank you letters to partners, etc.);
Qualifications
A degree in public health, project management, or other field;
Excellent written and oral skills in French and/or English;
Computer knowledge and good use of Word, PowerPoint, etc.;
Ability to set up questionnaires;
Ability to do scientific research online;
Ability to do small analyses;
Be flexible and able to work remotely;
Ability to deliver work on time;
Ability to work in a team;
Have a positive and dynamic attitude.
