AFG Bank Cameroon is recruiting a Network and Support Administrator for its Projects, Organization and Information Systems Department .

Main mission: Administer the network and telecommunications

MAIN ACTIVITIES
Ensure LAN/WAN supervision and availability;
Ensure the conduct of installation activities and technical and functional administration of network equipment;
Provide technical support for resolving incidents related to network and telecom environments;
Ensure regular backup of the company’s network configurations and servers;
Produce KPIs on the status of network equipment;
Ensure the updating of security patches on servers and network equipment;
Regularly monitor the status of antivirus database updates on servers;
Manage the physical access control system;
Develop and update procedures related to its activities;
Ensure compliance with company procedures in the context of its activities (codification, confidentiality, backup, security, etc.).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Experience required: Minimum 3 years in an IT services company, bank or financial institution in a similar position
Level of education: BAC + 3 minimum/Degree
Sector or specialty: Systems, Networks and Telecoms
Certification: CCNA, CCNP, MCSA, Azure-900, NSE4 or any other equivalent certificate
Bilingualism (French and English) would be an asset
REQUIRED SKILLS

Knowledge
Good knowledge of ITIL best practice guidelines
Good knowledge of Unix and Windows environments
Know-how
Proficiency in network equipment administration: routers, firewalls, switches
Proficiency in the administration of Microsoft 365 tools: Active Directory, SharePoint, PowerBI, Windows, WSUS, EntraId, etc.
