For the needs of its activities in Cameroon, the CMA CGM Group is currently looking for 01 Cluster Commercial Director. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Implementation of the commercial strategy

  •  Set objectives/budget on Import and Export trades with the DG and the HO
  • Adapt the pricing policy to the market in conjunction with head office
  • Monitoring of VAS and e-Commerce tools
  •  Focus on intermodal (import and export BLD, Chad and CAR corridor, domestic BL)

 

 

Animation of the Commercial teams (7 people + coordination of the sales aspect of the BM Chad and Owner rep RCA)

  • Optimization of resources within the team
  • Monitoring of commercial KPIs 
  • Skill developpement

Optimization of equipment and ships

  • Allocation request and equipment supply
  • Follow-up of forecasts/loading achievements

Recovery

  • Support Finance on these customers
  • Consideration of customers

  • Customers (informal, large companies, States)
  •  Port actors (Customs, port authorities, harbor master’s office, Douala and Kribi terminals, etc.)

PROFILE & SKILLS:

  •  Graduated with a Master’s degree in International Trade / Logistics or Transport, you have acquired at least 5 years of management experience in the maritime sector or in a commercial function. 
  •  You also have a good command of computer and office tools. You are fluent in French and speak fluent English.
  •  Your interpersonal skills and your sense of negotiation will be essential for effective communication. Your capacity for persuasion, adaptation, your managerial skills, your pro activity and your leadership are major assets to carry out the missions of this position.
