As part of its activities, Cimenteries du Cameroun is looking for 01 Plant Health, Safety, Security & Environment Manager

 

 

 

MAIN MISSIONS

•  Audit the health, safety, security & environment (HSSE) system
•  Ensure compliance with all standards and procedures
•  Provide all the statistics of the performance of his unit
•  Advise plant management on all SSSE aspects
•  Ensure the training of the staff of his unit on the Group’s HSE standards, procedures and standards.

 

 

 

 

ACTIVITIES

•  Coordinate the audit programs of his unit according to the standards
•  Compile and monitor the corrective measures following the various audits
•  Develop and implement regulatory standards and procedures
•  Ensure compliance with the SSSE rules of all stakeholders in his unit
•  Organize and lead training workshops on standards and procedures
•  Organize and animate all the HSE campaigns of his unit
•  Coach staff in the application of standards and procedures
•  Conduct surveys to improve the health & safety culture of all stakeholders in his unit
•  Administer the ICARE tool
•  Track and update all statistics relating to its activities
•  Collect safety information, incidents and training material for use in safety topics and HSE meetings
•  Investigate any SSSE incident
•  Propose measures to improve the security system
•  Establish and follow site access control procedures
•  Define and implement an environmental management system (EMS) within the factory in accordance with regulations in order to improve environmental performance

 

 

 

 

PROFILE

He/she must have:

•  Engineering Diploma / HSE Diploma / HSE Certification
•  Having at least 5 years of practical professional experience in the SSSE field would be an asset
•  Be 30 years of age or older
•  Good knowledge of local and international HSSE procedures
•  Good knowledge of industry HSE standards
•  A good knowledge of QHSE audit techniques
•  Good knowledge in project management
•  A good customer-oriented and results-oriented attitude
•  A very good sense of collaboration and team spirit
•  Strong interpersonal skills
•  A very good level in office computing
•  Good leadership and a high level of rigor

Tongue

•  A good level in written and oral communication in French and English
