Assignment :

Legal and insurance interfaces:

Ensures the interface relating to legal matters between the subsidiary, institutions, external legal actors (lawyers, magistrates, notaries, bailiffs, etc.) and partners;
Ensures the interface relating to legal matters between the business lines and the legal department of the subsidiary;

Ensures the interface relating to legal and insurance matters between the subsidiary and HQ, when head office support is required.

General contract conditions:

Review and maintenance of legal conditions of contracts;
Draft contracts specific to the use of the Subsidiary;
Negotiations of legal clauses and insurance with suppliers of goods and/or services;
Adaptation to the Cameroonian context of standard contracts (BIMCO, etc.);
Monitoring and updating the Subsidiary contracts table.

Profile :

Minimum Master’s degree/Master of Law;
Previous experience is desirable, ideally in the Oil sector;
4 to 5 years of experience in the legal department of a private company or in a legal expertise firm;
Good knowledge of IT tools;
Good command of the English language.

Level of study: MASTER’S / BAC+4
Specialization: Legal / Taxation
Level of experience: Experienced (6 to 10 years)
Languages: French: Fluent in
English: Good practice
