Background and rationale
YOUTH DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION (YDF) is a non-profit and apolitical association whose objective is to contribute to the promotion of health in Cameroon. This association under Cameroonian law was created in 1996, it is the manifestation of the will of a group of young people to empower themselves. It participates in building the capacity of communities in the area of SDSR, promotes rights and information on reproductive health, as well as related rights, and conducts related advocacy. Moreover, Y DF participates in the setting up of networks of useful and effective partners.
Y DF is Sub Recipient (SR) under the CHILL PROJECT funded by USAID, whose Principal Recipient is CARE and HEALTH PROGRAM (CHIP)

Under the supervision of the Community Mobilization Officer, the Pair Leader (PL) will have the following tasks: Duties of
Position:
• Ensure awareness of the target population in the field and referral to Drop-ln-Centers (DIC)
Main Tasks:
Placed under the responsibility of the Community Mobilization Officer (CMC), the PL must:
• Identify the points warm in the field and or through social networks;
• Update the mapping of hot spots in the area of intervention;
• Identify testing sites for HIV and other related pathologies;
Assess the risks and needs of beneficiaries and systematically refer them to the DICs;
• Involve beneficiaries in awareness-raising and training activities;
• Organize group and interpersonal educational talks;
• Constitute and follow cohorts of beneficiaries;
• Provide hotlines at the DIC;
• Systematically record data in the digital platform and collection tools;
• Distribute prevention and education materials during awareness-raising activities according to standards;
• Participate in debriefing and other meetings in person or online Required
profile:
• Have at least the BEPC
• Have a good knowledge of HIV Speak and write French or English;
• Have a very good knowledge of the hot spots in the area of intervention an asset
Requirements/Experience required
• Have a good knowledge of HIV/STI and other related topics: Have a very good knowledge of key and vulnerable populations; Have a good knowledge of social networks:
• Have experience in working with local or international NGOs;
• Mastery of the use of a smart phone.
