ICRAFON, a subsidiary of the CFAO Group and specialized in the production & marketing of pens, razors, industrial and household plastic packaging, consumer products in different “B2B” & “B2C” categories is looking for:
01 Transit Agent

Position: Agent of Masters
Location: Douala/Cameroon
Type of contract: CDI

As a Transit Agent, your mission will focus on compliance with import and export rules, the payment of service providers on time and the entry into stock of raw materials and spare parts.
Job activities:

On the management of imports and exports o Follow all operations related to the purchase and sale outside Cameroon.
o Manage relations with Customs, SGS, exchange services, banks and GUCE. o Ensure compliance with deadlines and optimization of the cost of operations related to purchases. o Manage preparatory formalities for customs clearance.
o On the management of foreign supplier payments o Establish the annual balance of payment.

o Prepare and transmit the necessary elements for payment of foreign suppliers.
On the administrative management o Control the invoicing of the transit service providers and draft the claims. o Manage import disputes.
o Ensure the archiving in accordance with the regulations of all documents related to import and export.
o Ensure regulatory monitoring in terms of purchase and sale outside Cameroon.
o Manage relations with the services of the customs administration and in particular customs controls.
On cost and stock management o Participate in the preparation of material flow stocks for all products.
o Prepare and validate cost estimates before purchasing goods. o Evaluate and validate the cost of service providers before each purchase.

Profile sought:
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bac+3 in international trade, transit, logistics and transport, or equivalent diploma,
• Experience of 2 to 3 years in a similar position.
• Recognized know-how in import operations and a “data & result oriented” culture, ideally in FMCGs.
Key skills:
• Mastery of customs regulations and international trade (Incoterms, etc.).
• Knowledge of the organization of the national and international transport chain.
• Mastery of pricing techniques related to import/export. Mastery of office tools, mainly spreadsheets.
