Position Title: Food Safety Intern
Department: Quality Assurance
Location: Douala
Number of position: 02
ABOUT THE ROLE
Closure of pest control gaps (Improvement and implementation of the integrated pest management program)
Closure of hygiene and sanitation gaps (full compliance of the site with the standards of hygiene and support for food safety)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Implementation of a pest control program (surveillance, tracking, pest control instructions, trends, implementation of corrective actions and CAPA monitoring) Audits
and monitoring of GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) Manufacturing)
Assess gaps in shop floor standards (sanitation, foreign matter, rework, pest control, GMP)
Follow-up of the monitoring program and reports (PAH, OTA, MOSH/MOAH)
ABOUT YOU
Bac+5 in Food industry, microbiology, biochemistry, QHSE, environmental sciences
Knowledge of food safety standards (ISO 22000:2018 & ISO 22002 : 9.1)
Have a good level of use of the MS Office Suite, The Google suite would be an asset
Have at least an intermediate level in English
Be passionate, curious and have the desire to learn
Demonstrate active listening
Have good communication skills
Be organized, structured, meticulous and sensitive to meeting deadlines
Have a taste for challenge
Be resilient and sociable
Be passionate about new technologies
Demonstrate integrity, teamwork and customer focus
