RECRUITMENT NOTICE OF TWO (02) INDUSTRIAL MECHANICS
A company based in Douala specializing in the production of cement, is looking for two (02) Industrial Maintainers for its Factory management for an indefinite term contract.
Under the supervision of the Plant Manager, they will be responsible for coordinating all industrial maintenance activities in all its forms, intervening urgently to eliminate any kind of breakdown, following the preventive maintenance plan, carrying out technical inspections of the entire production tool.
1. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational tasks
– Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance on all machines of the production tools;
– Participate in the installation of new machines on the chains;
– Formulate the need for emergency spare parts and consumables;
– Anticipate possible breakdowns;
– Finding solutions to improve hardware performance;
– Coordinate a maintenance operation with the shift manager and the plant manager;
– Evaluate the duration of an intervention;
– Plan a maintenance operation;
– Design a maintenance intervention procedure;
– Analyze maintenance data (MTBF; MTTR, TRS);
– Coordinate the compliance of interventions and the operation of equipment, materials and installations (receptions, tests, trials, adjustments, etc.);
– Propose a technical improvement for equipment or an installation, Study and identify developments (functionality, profitability, quality, etc.)
– Understand and interpret engineering plans and diagrams,
– Be astride the standards in force
– Execute all tasks instructed by the hierarchy and the maintenance plan.
– Formalize the inspection and intervention reports and keep the history up to date
QMS
monitoring – Carry out the necessary quality controls;
– Propose the changes to be made to the QMS, with regard to the quality policy and the progress objectives defined by the General Manager;
– Evaluate the effectiveness of the improvement actions decided upon;
– Participate in training and sensitize management staff to the QMS;
Training
– Prepare training materials;
– Facilitate training and prepare the various reports to be sent to the hierarchy;
– Assist in post-training monitoring and evaluation.
Social management and HSE
– Participate in the popularization of HSE and social policies of our company in its working and living environment.
2. JOB PROFILE
2.1 Diploma and experience required
– Diploma: BAC+3/2 in mechanical engineering / industrial maintenance / maintenance and at least 05 years of professional experience in the field;
– Bilingualism is an asset (English/French).

2.3 Know-how: technical skills
Have a perfect command of:
– Quality procedures;
– Computer-Assisted Group Technology (TGAO) [working method consisting of grouping parts into families in order to take advantage of their analogies, and is sometimes partially integrated into CAD, CMMS and CAPM software packages];
– Computer Aided Maintenance Management Software (CMMS);
– Integrated Management Software (PGI) / Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP
– Computer-Aided Design and Drawing (CAD/CAD);
– Problem-solving methods and tools;
– Lean Manufacturing Practices and Six techniques Sigma
