CALL FOR APPLICATIONS : Two (2) Monitoring and Evaluation Interns
ALTERNATIVES-Cameroon is the Association for Freedom, Tolerance, Expression and Respect for People of Indigent Nature or Victims of Social Exclusion. The Association promotes the defense of human rights, is non-profit, governed by Law No. 90/053 . It has been legally recognized since October 27, 2006 by the Prefecture of Wouri (Declaration n°204/RDDA/C19/BAPP) . Since 2008 we have opened a center called “ Centre Médical Access ” in order to advocate accessibility to information on HIV, prevention and treatment of this infection.
We are recruiting two Monitoring-Evaluation Interns for an Academic internship . Under the direct supervision of the Monitoring and Evaluation Manager and his/her Assistant, the intern will have to perform the following tasks:
- Assist in the development of a monitoring-evaluation strategy, including the conceptualization and collection of baseline data;
- Assist in the systematic collection of data, participate in their assembly and compilation in a monthly / quarterly / annual progress report for monitoring and evaluation
- Attend mid-term evaluation and final evaluation of projects (including supervision visits)
- Ensure the regularity of technical reports from field staff
- Assist in the development of strategic frameworks, regular reports and documents for communication around the project;
- Participate in capacity building of the organization to ensure the monitoring and sustainability of programs;
- Participate in the production of monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
- Participate in the daily management of the monitoring and evaluation system;
- Participate in the preparation of technical coordination meetings.
Training/Diplomas : BAC+2 minimum
Professional experience: have knowledge of health and/or development projects
– Honest, available, organized, dynamic and motivated
– Be in non-judgment and confidentiality
– Strong personality, with good communication and persuasion skills
– Spirit of synthesis and high sense of teamwork
Professional skills and knowledge
– Interpersonal communication skills
– Be in accordance with the statutes and internal regulations of Alternatives Cameroon
– Speak and write fluently either French and/or English
– Have a good ability to understand and adapt
– Have good computer skills
– Knowledge in community projects (NGOs/OBCs/OBFs)
– He/she also intervenes in other sectors of activity where his/her competence will be necessary.
Duration of the contract : 03 months renewable once
Salary intention : Unpaid
Job location : AKWA DOUALA CENTER ACCESS

– A certified copy of the highest diploma
