Presentation of the project
The DRC-ACF-CARE-NRC consortium offers an integrated cross-border program
directly contributing to providing sustainable, diversified and localized solutions to
displacement situations in Cameroon and the Central African Republic (CAR). As for Cameroon, the
project will be implemented in 02 regions namely: the East and Adamawa integrating SAME, WASH, SHELTER and PROTECTION activities

PROJECT ASSISTANTS
3.4.1. Description
Under the responsibility of the project coordinator, the Project Assistants have the main
responsibilities:
Support the coordination and implementation of all project activities;
Participate in monitoring the implementation of weekly, monthly and quarterly activities
relating to the annual action plan;
Organize and supervise training related to the project
Ensure reporting on the progress of Wash/Shelter and ICLA activities as well as
donor reports;
Ensure regular monitoring of activity indicators and program results;
Responsible for budget monitoring in accordance with donor standards and procedures;
Contribute to knowledge sharing; summarizing and documenting the results, lessons
learned
Ensure the availability of required work personnel
Help monitor the security situation in the project intervention areas;
Carry out any other activity entrusted by the hierarchy
3.4.2. Qualification, skills and experience required
Hold Bac +3/5 in management and project management or any other fields deemed
relevant (sociology, anthropology, law, etc.);
Have at least 3 years of experience in a similar position, therefore 2 years in humanitarian work;
Experience in the implementation of the Multi-sectoral project (Wash, Shelter and Protection)
Very good experience in management and team management;
Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision;
Very good command of project management and monitoring tools;
Good command of the office pack (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
Perfect command of French, written and oral;
Knowledge of English is an asset;
Desired knowledge of local languages (Fulfulde, Gbaya, Sango)
3.4.3. Job Requirement
Be physically able to carry out field missions;
Be free from all commitments and all conflicts of interest;
Commit to promoting the visibility of the donor and GADDAFF
NB He will work at the office located in Batouri, from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a one-hour break
and will make visits to Garoua Boulai and Betare Oya to ensure monitoring
activities
