Main mission: Contribute to prospecting, the retention and development of a portfolio
of individual customers.
MAIN OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES
The Account Manager works towards the achievement of the following objectives:
Objective 1: Research and develop resources
▪ Take steps with prospects, to make them customers
▪ Market the Bank’s products (savings products, loans, securities transactions, etc.) to
customers
▪ Collect resources from savings and investment products
▪ Participate in the recovery of outstanding customer commitments
▪ Participate in the design and development of new products
▪ Enhance and renew the client portfolio
Objective 2: Manage a portfolio
▪ Open accounts and ensure follow-up
▪ Improve the client experience by facilitating and developing relationships with customers
▪ Propose solutions adapted to customer needs, by analyzing their resources, expectations and projects,
in compliance with the commercial policy of the bank
▪ Investigate credit applications from customers
▪ Proceed with the assembly of credit files after assessment
▪ Report suspicious transactions by controlling the various movements in the accounts of its
portfolio
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED REQUIRED SKILLS
▪ Bac +4/5 in Banking and Finance, Commerce,
Distribution or any other similar discipline.
▪ Minimum experience of 03 years in the management of a
client portfolio, preferably in the banking sector
.
▪ A perfect expression in English, as well as
the mastery of pidgin English, would be assets.
▪ Knowledge
* Good knowledge of financial analysis
* Good knowledge of banking products
▪ Know-how
* Mastery of banking techniques
* Mastery of commercial negotiation techniques
* Good writing skills
* Mastery of office automation applications (Microsoft
PowerPoint – Excel – Word)
▪ Social skills
* Integrity / probity
* Relational ease / ability to listen
* Organization / method / rigor
* Analysis / synthesis
