The Pasteur Center of Cameroon (CPC) is recruiting Medical Analysis Laboratory Technicians for service needs

1) Medical analysis laboratory technicians: 03 positions.

Status: Category 9/A (National Collective Pharmacy Agreement).
Type of Contract: Temporary fixed-term contract.
Duration: 03 months renewable once.
Place; Pasteur Center of Cameroon (CPC), General Directorate, Yaoundé.

Environment:

The medical analysis laboratory of the Center Pasteur du Cameroun is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Medical analyzes are carried out according to the requirements of the ISO 15189 standard. All laboratory analysis activities are computerized from the recording of requests to the validation of results and the majority of analyzes are automated. These activities are carried out within the Pathological Anatomy and Cytology departments; Bacteriology- Mycology- Parasitology, Biochemistry, Hematology, Mycobacteriology, Serology and Virology.

Laboratories concerned: Mycobacteriology, Bacteriology-Parasitology-Mycology & Biochemistry.

Main activities

Carry out medical analyzes within timeframes compatible with patient care and according to operating procedures,
Ensures inventory management of reagents and consumables;
Performs biological samples;
Receipt and transmission of samples.

Profile sought:

Applications from junior laboratory technicians who have already been the subject of accreditation in one of the laboratories concerned by this recruitment at the Pasteur Center of Cameroon or elsewhere will be particularly appreciated.

Training: hold a medical analysis technician diploma.
Professional experience: 06 months;
Age: 20-30 years

Skills required:

Knowledge of biology, chemistry;
Master medical laboratory analysis techniques;
Master pre- and post-analytical techniques;
Ability to work in a team and to be very responsive, dynamic and meticulous, and rigorous.
