RECRUITMENT NOTICE
Context
Cameroon is a beneficiary of grant GC 7 from the Global Fund: “Accelerating the prevention of new infections among key populations to reduce the rate of morbidity and mortality linked to HIV by 2026”.
Care and Health Program (CHP) is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) created in 1996 and based in Cameroon. For over 27 years, CHP has been involved in the field of prevention-related activities including STI/HIV/AIDS research, PMTCT, family planning activities, research, and community awareness raising. on pandemics, endemics, the fight against vandalism, drug consumption; this not only in Cameroon but also in Central and West Africa.

Duration: 33 months

Location: Yaoundé, Douala and Garoua
Contract: Fixed-term contract: 03 months trial – Extension after evaluation.
Under the technical supervision of the Regional Unit Manager, the Regional Monitoring-Evaluation Assistant will have to perform the following tasks:
Functions and responsibilities:
-Ensure management of the project information system at cell level;
-Ensure the development of the plan for implementing activities by the OBCs;
-Monitor the implementation of activities and data collection in collaboration with CBOs;
-Support management in resolving technical issues;
-Contribute to capacity building of regional office managers on Global Fund procedures;
-Contribute to the operation of the data collection and management system;
-Centralize and supervise technical reports from OBCs;
-Ensure the production of the cell report based on regional reports (progress reports, annual reports, etc.).
Job profile:
-Hold a license or equivalent diploma;
-Have at least two years of professional experience in Monitoring and Evaluation, especially in development projects and programs;
-Excellent writing skills (activity report, financial report);
-Good knowledge of classification and archiving systems;
-Have very good capacity in collecting data and preparing periodic reports;
-Be able to implement recommendations and monitor community-based activities;
-Have a good knowledge of IT tools: MS-Word, Excel, Internet etc…
Skills and abilities: Interpersonal and leadership skills, including the ability to work effectively in a team. The candidate must be able to plan, implement, monitor and advocate for programs and beneficiaries. Must have strong time management skills and be able to prioritize and execute multiple activities simultaneously.
