OPEN EMERGENCY CALL FOR APPLICATIONS NOTICE N°002/JAPSSO/GC7/HUMAN RIGHTS/2024 FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF STAFF FOR THE

CARE International PROJECT in Cameroon has been selected by the National Coordinating Body as Principal Civil Society Recipient of the HIV-TB grant (Community Prevention component) for the period 2024-2026. To this end, CARE International in Cameroon has retained JOIN ACTING PROCESS FOR THE SUCCESS OF SUSTAINABLE OBJECTIVES (JAPSSO) to act as Sub-Recipient-HUMAN RIGHTS in the 10 regions of Cameroon. The NGO JAPSSO will have a National Office and three (03) Regional Coordinations, namely Adamaoua, North and Far North (ANEN); Center, South and East (CSE); Coastline, West, North-West and South-West (LONOSO). The implementation period of the Project is set from March 1, 2024 to December 31, 2026 and for its execution the NGO JAPSSO must recruit staff.  

REGIONAL RISK MANAGEMENT AND COMPLAINTS MANAGERS OF THE CSE, ANEN AND LONOSO

– Minimum of a Bac +3 diploma in the field of legal sciences or social sciences or any other related sector
– Minimum of 01 year of experience working with community organizations
– Proven experience of working with key/vulnerable populations
– Good understanding of grants from the global fund or other donors
– Good understanding of the legal context for implementing grants from the global fund and other donors
– Excellent writing and analytical skills
– Proven experience in risk management design and planning
– Ability to write technical reports
– Ability to establish strong working relationships with colleagues from different functions and cultures
– Ability to work under pressure
– Proficiency in Word, Excel, Powerpoint , Internet
– Good command of French and/or English

2. Places of execution of the contract:
The places of execution of the personnel contract are: Yaoundé (National Office and Regional Coordination CSE), Garoua (Regional Coordination ANEN), Douala (Regional Coordination LONOSO) with travel to the ten regions .

3. Working Conditions:

Employment contract under local law
Remuneration according to profile, experience and budgetary availability
Duration of the contract determined: 33 months with trial period of 03 months.
Taking office: April 2024 and upon signature of the contract.

• a cover letter
• a CV
• a photocopy of the last diploma or certificate
• proof of experience
• half a 4*4 photo
• a photocopy of the national identity card
• a medical certificate dating less than one month
• two references
• the salary claim

To be submitted only in Yaoundé, no later than Wednesday March 27, 2024 at 2 p.m. strict deadline , at the level of the NGO JAPSSO located in Bastos, on the Fifth Level of the Building between the Russian Embassy and the Spanish Embassy.
