Our company is active in international trade and offers a wide range of products in different categories including electronics, computer and electronic accessories, clothing, etc.
Tasks and Responsibilities
As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the management and growth of our business sector in Cameroon. Your main responsibilities include:
Strategy Development: Develop and implement an overall business strategy for your focus area in close collaboration with management in Cameroon;
Human resource management: recruit, train and lead a team of salespeople in order to develop sales of our products in Cameroon;
Sales management: monitoring and controlling sales activities in order to achieve turnover and profit objectives;
Training and development: regular training and development of salespeople to improve their skills and product knowledge;
Performance monitoring: measure and track sales team performance using key performance indicators and targets;
Relationship with clients: establish and maintain relationships with clients and partners in Cameroon;
Reports: Regular reports to management in Cameroon on progress, challenges and opportunities in the area of activity.
Requirements
Baccalaureate (a Bac + N would be an asset);
At least 2 years of experience in sales and management preferably in the chosen sector;
Leadership experience and proven ability to lead and motivate teams;
Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
Knowledge of the local market and Cameroonian commercial culture;
Results orientation and ability to achieve goals;
Fluent knowledge of French and/or English is an asset.
