The Cameroonian Association for Social Marketing (ACMS) is a non-governmental organization under Cameroonian law whose main mission is to improve the social situation of the Cameroonian population in a sustainable and measurable manner and to promote health. Thus, ACMS works in cooperation with the government and its public and private sector partners to deliver high-quality health programs, reaching all populations in need. For over twenty-five years, ACMS has provided the Cameroonian population with comprehensive, evidence-based public health interventions, including programs in reproductive health, malaria and HIV prevention among others.

ACMS is looking for candidates to fill the positions of Drivers (M/F).

 

Who are we recruiting? 

Drivers will be responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of personnel in urban and rural environments.

Essential functions:

• Drive the Association’s vehicles in urban and rural areas as part of organized missions;
• Carry out a periodic check and diagnosis of the vehicle provided;
• Carry out repairs for basic vehicle breakdowns;
• Follow the distribution of the vehicle deposited in an approved garage;
• Maintain and update a vehicle log sheet daily;
• Methodically manage the fuel made available;
• Methodically complete a fuel replenishment form;
• Systematically enforce the wearing of seat belts;
• Respect speed limits;
• Participate in and monitor ACMS activities, various campaigns, as well as field surveys if requested;
• Create and maintain good relationships with local institutional partners (Government, NGOs, parapublic organizations);
• Prepare mission reports and monthly reports;

• Submit a monthly report on activities according to the current format no later than the last day of each month.

Qualifications and skills required:

1. Have at least a BEPC, CAP or equivalent ;
2. Hold a category B driving license ;
3. Have at least three (03) years of experience   in leading local and/or international NGOs;
4. Be able to work under pressure;
5. To be integrated ;
6. Be able to demonstrate skills in human relations management and communication.

• Monitor the distribution of the vehicle to an approved garage;
• Maintain and update vehicle logs on a daily basis;
• Methodically manage fuel supplies;
• Methodically filled in a fuel replenishment form;
• Systematically enforce the use of seat belts;
• Comply with speed limits;
• Participate in and monitor ACMS activities, campaigns and field surveys as requested;
• Establish and maintain good relations with local institutional partners (Government, NGOs, parapublic organizations);
• Prepare mission reports and monthly reports;

• Submit a monthly report on activities according to the current format by the last day of each month.

 

Qualifications and skills required:

1. Have at least a BEPC, CAP or equivalent;
2. Hold a category B driver’s license;
3. Have at least three (03) years’ driving experience with local and/or international NGOs;
4. Ability to work under pressure;
5. Integrity;
6. Demonstrated human relations and communication skills.
