Recruitment Notice: 3,340 Gendarmerie and Gendarmerie Officers in the Chief Towns of the 10 Regions, Defense Forces

THE MINISTER DELEGATE TO THE PRESIDENCY IN CHARGE OF DEFENSE COMMUNICATES:

It is brought to the attention of young Cameroonians of both sexes, wishing to pursue a career in the Defense Forces, that competitions for the recruitment of 300 Gendarmerie Non-Commissioned Officer Students General Service option, 40 Gendarmerie Non-Commissioned Officer Students Health option Military, and 3000 Student-Gendarmes will take place from March 27, 2023 in the capitals of the 10 administrative regions of Cameroon.
Each candidate must submit their application file to the General Staff of the Gendarmerie Legion of their place of residence, between January 30 and March 10, 2023, the strict deadline.

The conditions to be met are as follows.

I- GENERAL CONDITIONS OF CANDIDACY
o Be of Cameroonian nationality, o have never been convicted, o be single without dependent children, o be of good character, o be able to meet the prescribed sporting, intellectual and medical tests, o have a minimum height of 1.67 meters for boys and 1.60 meters for girls.

II- SPECIFIC APPLICATION CONDITIONS FOR PUPILS NCO OFFICERS OF THE GENDARMERIE GENERAL SERVICE OPTION
In addition to the general application conditions.
o Be at least 18 years old on 1 January 2023 and 23 years old at most on 31 December 2023 (i.e. be born between 1 January 2005 for the youngest and 31 December 2000 for the oldest) o Hold the Probatoire or the GCE Advanced Level obtained in
at least one (01) subject (except religion), or an equivalent diploma.

III- SPECIFIC APPLICATION CONDITIONS FOR PUPILS NCO OFFICERS OF THE GENDARMERIE MILITARY HEALTH OPTION  
In addition to the general application conditions.
o Be at least 18 years old on January 1, 2023 and no more than 28 years old on December 31, 2023 (i.e. be born between January 1, 2005 for the youngest and December 31, 1995 for the oldest) o Hold the Probatoire or the GCE Advanced Level obtained in at least one (01) subject (except religion), or an equivalent diploma; o Hold a State nursing diploma or a medical-sanitary technician diploma, or an equivalent diploma.
Diplomas in psychology, psychiatry, resuscitation, stomatology, radiology, cardiology, physiotherapy, ENT, public health, midwifery or midwifery are an additional asset for candidates who hold them.

IV- SPECIFIC APPLICATION CONDITIONS FOR PUPILS OF POLICE
In addition to the general application conditions.
o Be at least 18 years old on January 1, 2023 and no more than 23 years old on December 31, 2023 (i.e. be born between January 1, 2005 for the youngest and the December 31, 2000 for the older ones) | © http://minajobs.net/
o Hold the BEPC or the GCE Ordinary Level obtained in four (04) subjects (except religion) or an equivalent diploma.
However, for all these competitions, it is strongly recommended that each candidate introduce in his file, the legalized photocopy of his highest diploma.

V- COMPOSITION OF THE APPLICATION FILE:
– 01 handwritten application stamped at one thousand five hundred (1500) FCFA, signed by the candidate and addressed to the Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of Defence;
– 01 certified copy of the birth certificate dated less than three (03) months
– 01 certified true copy of the diploma or 02 diplomas for the military health option
01 certificate of presentation of the original diploma or 02 diplomas for the military health option,
– 01 signed curriculum vitae of the candidate;
– 01 information sheet duly completed
– 04 4×4 photos in color and without hairstyle
– 01 certificate of nationality issued by the competent services,
– 01 extract from the criminal record, bulletin n 03 dating from less than 03 months issued by a magistrate;
– 01 celibacy certificate;
– 01 envelope stamped at one thousand five hundred (1500) FCFA bearing the address of the candidate;
– 01 receipt for payment of the sum of ten thousand (10,000) FCFA for student-gendarmerie candidates and fifteen thousand (15,000) FCFA for student-sub-officer candidates of the Gendarmerie, to be paid to the Head of the Office Administrative and Financial of the Legion of Gendarmerie of deposit of the file.

Candidates’ attention is drawn to the fact that they should not contract a marriage before three (03) years of completed service.

Candidates must be able, if necessary, to present authentic diplomas to the competent committees, under penalty of rejection of their files. /-
