JOB OFFERS – 3rd General Business Census (RGE-3) – National Institute of Statistics

As part of the realization of this operation, the Director General of the National Institute of Statistics is launching a call for applications for the pre-selection of 700 (seven hundred) Enumerators, for a fixed-term contract.

1. CONTEXT AND JUSTIFICATION  

The General Business Census (RGE) is a nationwide statistical operation included as a priority action in the National Strategy for the Development of Statistics (SNDS 2015-2020). This tool makes it possible to have detailed information on the economic units (even the smallest) in activity on the national territory, thus contributing to the elaboration and monitoring-evaluation of development policies centered on entrepreneurship (SND30, Sector Strategies, etc.). Two editions have already been produced, the first in 2009 (RGE-1) and the second in 2016 (RGE-2).

 

 

The Government and development partners intend, through the INS, to update data by conducting the Third General Business Census (RGE-3).

As part of this operation, the Director General of the INS is launching a call for applications for the pre-selection of 700 (seven hundred) enumerators, for a fixed-term contract.

II. JOB DESCRIPTION:

II.1 Purpose of the contract:

the Enumerator will be responsible for carrying out, using the tablets, the census operations of all the economic units in the towns/districts assigned to him.

 

 

II.2 Profile of the Candidate  

Be of Cameroonian nationality;
Hold at least the baccalaureate or any other equivalent diploma;
Be free of any commitment;
Be at least 21 years old and no more than 40 years old on the date of signing this call for applications;
Ability to work independently, discreetly and confidentially;
Have a good ability to work in a team and in the field;
Be ready to serve in rural and urban areas in all regions of Cameroon;
Proven experience in computerized data collection would be an asset;
Have a good knowledge of New Information and Communication Technologies (NICT) tools;
Be fully available for the duration of the contract.

III. TO APPLY

Step 1: Access the platform

Step 2: Register  

All users must have an account in order to apply for an application.
Register (for all new users)
To register, click on the “register” button located at the far right of the menu bar. Successively follow the steps until the validation of the registration form.

Step 3: Account Activation  

You will receive an email following the validation of the registration form. This email will contain a link that will redirect you to the application and a temporary password (you could change this temporary password in the space required) that you must use for activation.

Step 4: Connect  

To connect you must enter your identifiers (e-mail and password).
During your first authentication, you will be redirected to an information page on which you will have to fill in your profile information.

NB: This step will only be done once on the application during the first authentication on the platform. For the next authentications, you just have to enter your identifiers to access your session.

Step 5: Consult the offers  

To see the different applications present on the application, click on the ” Applications ” button located on the right of the menu bar.
On the ” Applications ” page you have all the projects and positions offered.

For more detailed information on an offer, click on the “Apply” button located below the RGE3-2023 project that catches your attention. This will give you access to the description of the project and the position offered.

Step 6: Send your application  

After consulting the details of an offer, if you wish to send your application: Click on the ” Continue”

button»located at the top and bottom of the page. You will then be redirected to another page.
Fill out the form on the next page and click on the ” Apply ” button at the bottom of the page to send your application.
NB: Fill in all the mandatory fields to be able to click on the Apply button.

Step 7: Validate  

Once you have entered all the information and clicked on the <<< Apply »> button, certify the accuracy of the information provided, then validate.

Step 8: Confirmation of application  

You will receive an email containing your receipt confirming that your application has been sent to your email address.

Step 9:  

Stick a copy of the receipt on the envelope containing your physical application file and submit the said file to the Regional Agency of your place of residence.
