The Cameroonian Association of Women Doctors, abbreviated as ACAFEM, is an organization under the law of December 19, 1990, which works to improve the reproductive and sexual health of the Cameroonian populations through promotion, health education, advocacy and services.
In order to ensure the implementation of activities within the framework of the CHILL project with its partners, ACAFEM is launching an internal and external call for applications for the recruitment of a Lead Case Manager.

Duration of the Contract: 12 months trial period including
Type of Contract: CDD – full time
Salary intention: according to the salary grid
Location of the position: Yaoundé
Main tasks: Under the supervision of the DIC Manager, the Case manager will have to perform the following tasks:
• Mobilize, sensitize and screen SWs and their partners at risk for HIV;
• Provide follow-up, group and individual counseling within the framework of psychosocial follow-up;
• Facilitate listening activities, psychosocial support and referral of beneficiaries of the association;
• Accompany and support patients who need psychosocial support during the process of diagnosis, compliance or support for management within and outside ACAFEM;
• Organize and lead discussion groups for the benefit of people living with HIV;
• Regularly follow up on lost beneficiaries (under ARVs, tested positive);
• Facilitate therapeutic education workshops and adherence support consultations;
• Ensure, if necessary, home visits of the people monitored;
• Periodically write reports of activities carried out;
• Actively participate in all activities of the association;
• Use all data collection tools related to the position;
• Transcribe paper data into databases;
• Update patient tracking databases;

Job profile
He/She must:
• Have at least a baccalaureate +2 and/or more in social science or equivalent;
• Have training in counseling and/or psychosocial counseling;
• A minimum of two (02) years’ experience required in counseling and psychosocial support;
• Have a good knowledge of the health districts where ACAFEM operates;
• Strong capacity for analysis, mastery and management of data and database;
• Managerial ability to lead and coordinate CM teams;
• Relevant experience in working with local and international NGOs;
• Concrete knowledge on HIV/ in general and on key and vulnerable populations in particular;
• Strong teamwork and organizational skills;
• Work in strict respect of confidentiality;
• Be able to work under high pressure;
• Be fully available for the duration of the project;
• Be tolerant and endowed with a spirit of non-judgment;
• Have a perfect mastery of computer tools (Word, Excel, Publisher, Power Point, etc.);
• Be dynamic, honest, motivated and innovative;
• Have the spirit of initiative;
• The incumbent of this position must be able to work independently and outside normal working hours to meet the association’s quality and deadline requirements.

Schedule and Working Days
o Schedule: 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. with a 1 hour break at midday;
o Days: Monday to Friday and Saturdays depending on the results to be achieved
NB: rearrangements of working days and hours are regular

-A detailed Curriculum Vitae including references, maximum 2 pages (CV);
– A photocopy of the National Identity Card (CNI);
-A certified photocopy of the highest diploma;
– A copy of the certificates of services previously held in a similar position;
-Any other documents that may support your application file;
