For the Cameroon office, we are looking for a dynamic and committed Driver.
Reports to: Program Administrator
Location: Buea
Duration: Two (02) years
Mission of the department
In pursuit of its vision of a future with healthy ecosystems and flourishing biodiversity
supporting populations and stimulating sustainable development in Cameroon, WWF Cameroon
(WWF CCO) has entered into a partnership with the Sustainable Natural Resources Management Program –
South West Region (PSMNR-SWR). The partnership is currently in its fifth phase, covering
the period from September 15, 2023 to December 2025. The objective of the program is to contribute to the
preservation of high-value ecosystems in the South West region, thereby contributing to
the improvement livelihoods of surrounding communities in a sustainable manner.
Also sustainable management of forests and wildlife by relevant stakeholders for their
benefit, with particular emphasis on the poorest segments of local populations.
Main Functions
Contribute to efficient management of logistics and purchasing, and facilitate staff transport.
Main tasks and responsibilities
1. Driving
 Drive vehicles safely, ensure that all documents are available and in good
condition in the vehicle, and pay particular attention to:
– Maintaining the cleanliness of vehicles, both indoors and outdoors;
– Compliance with internal regulations regarding vehicle management;
The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Cameroon is recruiting a Driver to support staff on missions and during official functions.
2. Logistics / Admin

 

 

 Collect goods/goods from suppliers;
 Serve as support to the Logistics Manager in the purchase of goods and services;
 Collect the various pro-forma and invoices, depending on the needs of the office;
 Perform administrative support activities: collect money from the bank, deposit documents
in various offices, etc. ;
 Ensure that service or material requests are duly approved before processing;
 Enter orders into the system (GFS), according to the needs of the requesters;
 Collect all information relating to the use of vehicles, in order to prepare
cost recovery on the various projects;
 Prepare invoices relating to the use of vehicles, for official/private reasons;
 Enter data into the system to generate statistics;
 Prepare monthly statistical reports on office vehicles;
 Establish and maintain, at the request of your supervisor, good liaison with suppliers.
 Transport (by driving) the various project staff and teams (technical and
financial teams) for the implementation of activities;
 Support daily field activities by transporting teams and equipment to
project intervention areas;
 Report the condition of vehicles and recommend their repair.
• Perform all other tasks as requested by management.
Profile
Qualifications required
 BEPC Minimum + 3 years of experience in a similar position in an
international organization or CEP + 5 years of experience in an international organization or a
multinational;
 Hold a valid Category D driving license.
 Have at least 5 years of work experience in the South West, North West region, more
specifically in the: Technical Operations Units (TOU) of Mount Cameroon with the
Mount Cameroon National Park (MCNP), technical operations units (TOU) Korup-Ndongere
with the Korup National Park (KNP), technical operations units of Bakossi-Bayang-MboNweh-Mundani (BBMNM) with the Bakossi National Park (BNP) and the Sanctuary of Bayang-Mbo Wildlife
(BMWS).
 Experience working with MINFOF teams (National Park Conservators, Head
of Units, Ecoguards, etc.
Required skills and competencies:
 Excellent computer skills: Word, Excel;
 Excellent communication skills in English and good knowledge of Pidgin and
French
