Médecins Sans Frontières Switzerland is looking for a base PHARMACY STOREMAN for its emergency project in Kousseri

 




 

Place of work: Kousseri
Type of contract: Fixed-term contract of 1.5 months
Date of entry into office: As soon as possible
Direct Responsible: Responsible for Medical Activities
GENERAL OBJECTIVE:
Carry out inventory management activities for pharmacy and medical equipment so as to keep them above the safety limit and in compliance with recommended conditions (temperature, humidity, etc.). ), under the supervision of the medical warehouse supervisor or the pharmacy supervisor and in collaboration with the logistics team.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise orders and shipping of materials to ensure their rational use.
Receive orders and deliveries, identify and report possible discrepancies between manifests or delivery slips, store equipment according to the system put in place to ensure its permanent availability. These tasks include:
correct completion of stock card and software entries, preparation of orders from different consumption units (departments, services, etc.), correct packaging and shipping, reporting of all anomalies or changes in consumption to the pharmacy supervisor informing the pharmacy supervisor as soon as the stock reaches the alert limit
Ensures that stock records and relative software are up to date, including for medical devices and their related items (in collaboration with the project’s biomedical service)
Inform the project’s biomedical service before putting a medical device into service List item carrying out or participating in regular inventories, including EPREP stock reporting on missing, damaged or stolen materials on control of restrictions on access to the warehouse for existing personnel and the security of doors and other exits control of the good storage conditions of all pharmacy items Control
warehouse facilities in order to maintain good storage conditions conservation for the material. These tasks include:
monitoring the temperature in the warehouse and ensuring compliance with the cold chain when necessary, monitoring compliance with MSF supply and cold chain protocols for receipt and preparation of shipments monitoring the cleanliness of the premises (pharmacy in stock) the maintenance of refrigeration equipment, in close collaboration with the logistics department
Monitor stock levels in relation to alarm thresholds, stock shortages, expiration dates and medications that will expire in six months. Prepare reports and forward them to the supervisor.

 

 

 

Desirable Education Selection Criteria
.    High school diploma required. Medical studies
Experience Experience of at least 1 year with MSF or other NGOs desirable
Languages ​​Basic language of the mission essential, local language desirable
Knowledge Computer skills and knowledge as a user
of radio equipment
Skills: Results and sense of quality,

Stress Management.
Required qualities: Patience, flexibility, resourcefulness, ability to work under pressure with people from a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment, good physical condition, autonomy, punctuality.
