The Cameroonian Association of Women Doctors, abbreviated as ACAFEM, is an organization under the law of December 19, 1990, which works to improve the reproductive and sexual health of the Cameroonian populations through promotion, health education, advocacy and services.
In order to ensure the implementation of activities within the framework of the CHILL project with its partners, ACAFEM is launching an internal and external call for applications for the recruitment of a Receptionist.
Duration of the Contract: 12 months trial period including
Type of Contract: CDD – full time
Salary intention: according to the salary grid
Location of the position: Yaoundé
Main tasks: Under the responsibility of the DIC Manager, the receptionist will have to perform the tasks following:
• Welcome and properly orient beneficiaries and visitors;
• Ensure the reception and follow-up of the smooth running of the stay of visitors to the office;
• Provide basic and accurate information in person and by phone/email
• Assist the programs in the management and planning of appointments and meetings;
• Ensure the management of the occupation of the meeting room;
• Assist the Dic Manager in implementing partners’ recommendations;
• Drafting meeting reports;
• Ensure online awareness;
• Mail processing;
• Archiving documents of the structure
• Update the registers of beneficiaries;
Job profile
He/She must:
• Have at least a bachelor’s degree +2 in business administration, management, law, secretarial and office automation;
• A minimum of two (02) year’s experience as a receptionist, similar role deemed relevant;
• Have a good knowledge of the health districts where ACAFEM operates;
• Strong capacity for analysis, mastery and management of data and database;
• Relevant experience in working with local and international NGOs;
• Concrete knowledge on HIV/ in general and on key and vulnerable populations in particular;
• Strong teamwork and organizational skills;
• Work in strict respect of confidentiality;
• Be able to work under high pressure;
• Be fully available for the duration of the project;
• Good written and oral communication;
• Relational capacity;
• Practical experience with office equipment such as printer, copier, scanner, computer etc.

• General knowledge of the activities of the structure;
• Knowledge of administrative formalities;
• Know how to show interest during a conversation and transmit the necessary information;
• Knowledge of the address lists of staff and partners;
• Take notes in an efficient and structured way;
• Master the processing of texts;
• Knowledge of reception techniques;
• Knowing how to react appropriately in all situations in a friendly, polite and serene manner;
• Participate in the evaluation of the quality of data collection;
• Maintain the register of incoming and outgoing mail;
• Intervene in any activity where its competence is necessary;
• Compliance with defined procedures and standards;
• Attendance at the post and at coordination meetings, data collection/work sessions/follow-up of recommendations;
• Be tolerant and endowed with a spirit of non-judgment;
• Have a perfect mastery of computer tools (Word, Excel, Publisher, Power Point, etc.);
• Be dynamic, honest, motivated and innovative;
• Have the spirit of initiative;
• Respect for hierarchy;
Schedule and Working Days
o Schedule: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with a 1 hour break at midday;
o Days: Monday to Friday and Saturdays depending on the results to be achieved
NB: rearrangements of working days and hours are regular

letter of motivation addressed to the National President of ACAFEM specifying the position requested;
-A detailed Curriculum Vitae including references, maximum 2 pages (CV);
– A photocopy of the National Identity Card (CNI);
-A photocopy of the highest diploma;
– A copy of the certificates of services previously held in a similar position;
-Any other documents that may support your application file;
