RADIO-PRESS RELEASE
THE MINISTER DELEGATE AT THE PRESIDENCY IN CHARGE OF DEFENSE
STATES:
It is brought to the attention of young Cameroonians of both sexes wishing to pursue a career in the Defense Forces, that a preselection competition for admission to the French military training schools for officers is open at the single center in Yaoundé, on January 07 and 08, 2023, according to the following terms:

I- OPEN SCHOOLS
– Special Military School;
– Naval School;
– Course of License of the School of the Air; – School of the Commissioners of the Armies; – Military School for Candidates.
II – CONDITIONS TO BE FULFILLED
A — General conditions:
– Be of Cameroonian nationality; – be single without dependent children
– enjoy their civic rights;
– be free from any infectious disease; – be recognized as fit by a military doctor; – master the French language.
B — Specific conditions:
i – Special Military School
– Be born between January 1, 2000 and January 1, 2005;
– hold a baccalaureate in any series or a GCE/AL with at least two subjects, except religion;
– have successfully completed at least two years of study in higher education.
ii— Air School License Course
– Be born between January 1, 2000 and January 1, 2005;
– hold a scientific baccalaureate or a GCE/AL with at least two scientific subjects;
– to have. successfully completed at least two years of study in higher education;
– have been classified level I or 2 in the 2022 psychotechnical tests.

iii – Naval School
– Be born between January 1, 2000 and January 1, 2005;
– hold a scientific baccalaureate or a GCE/AL with at least two scientific subjects;
– have successfully completed at least two years of study in higher education.
iv – Army Commissioners School
– Be born between December 31, 1997 and January 1, 2005;
– hold a degree in law, management, economics or politics.
v – Military School for Aspirants
– Be born between December 31, 1997 and January 1, 2005; – hold a license.

III – CONTENT OF THE APPLICATION FILE
– 01 envelope A4 format stamped 1500 CFA francs, bearing the handwritten information below: surname and first names, date and place of birth, diploma, telephone number and email, school requested, complete address of the candidate ; – 01 blank cardboard folder;
– 01 handwritten request stamped at 1500 CFA francs addressed to the Minister
Delegate at the Presidency in charge of Defence;
– 01 certified photocopy of the birth certificate;
– 01 certified photocopy of the required diploma;
– 01 certificate of presentation of the original of the required diploma;
– 01 certified photocopy of the certificates of success of the first two years of university studies for the candidates of the Special Military School, the License Course of the Air School and the Naval School;
– 01 medical certificate duly signed by a military doctor;
– 01 information sheet to be obtained from the Human Resources Department of the Ministry of Defense when submitting the file.
Candidates will pay a sum of 20,000 CFA Francs (twenty thousand CFA Francs) against receipt, to the Human Resources Department of the Ministry of Defense, representing the costs of the competition.

IV – WRITTEN PRESELECTION TESTS
The written pre-selection tests will take place on 07 and 08 January 2023 at the Lycée Général Leclerc in Yaoundé. The call for candidates will be from 7 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.

Complete application files are received at the Human Resources Department of the Ministry of Defense until Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at 4 p.m., strict deadline./-
