MANAGER OF APPROVED WELDERS AT CONTRAX EMPLOIS SERVICE SARL
CONTRAX EMPLOIS SERVICE SARL is looking for approved welders for one of its customers.
JOB DUTIES:
The welder assembles, by merging them, metal assemblies or sub-assemblies. The welder thus performs welds on pre-assembled mechanically welded assemblies.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
- Prepare your work environment
- Identifies materials, consumables and various appropriate welds
- Assembles the metal parts by various welding processes while respecting the safety instructions
- Verifies and controls the conformity and quality of the welding carried out
- Performs welds according to the appropriate processes and applicable standards
- Adjust the welding station
- Performs first level preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment
- Reports on its activity to its hierarchy
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND REQUIRED SKILLS
PROFILE
- Academic level: minimum CAP in boilermaking or welding or equivalent diploma
- Additional training and/or qualification: approval or certification in boilermaking or welding
- Professional experience: 03 years minimum in a similar position, with at least 02 projects of the same scope
- Having worked in an industrial environment would be a big plus.
- Reads a plan and/or a mechanical technical diagram, piping, structural steelwork, etc.
- Can perform and apply the different types of welding: Oxy-cutting, Brazing, torch, plasma, electric arc, TIG welding, MIG-MAG welding etc.
- Knowledge of mechanical welding and assembly mechanics
- Uses a machine requiring authorization
- Empower for work in position and work at height
- Can work under pressure and meet deadlines for completing tasks.
