The Auto Mechanic is responsible for inspecting a vehicle’s engine and its mechanical/electrical components to accurately diagnose detected faults.

Also, he inspects the vehicle’s on-board computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade.

He carries out routine maintenance operations to ensure the functionality and longevity of the vehicles of customers and/or partners of PROGRES AUTOMOBILES SARL.

 

 

TRAINING :

The auto mechanic must hold a BTS or more in automobile mechanics, in mechatronics . He must be familiar with all garage trades .

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

The auto mechanic  must have at least two (02) years of experience in a garage . Have a good knowledge of car parts as well as the different brands that PROGRES AUTOMOBILES SARL maintains.

ASSIGNMENTS :

Attached to the Garage and Mechanical Maintenance Department , the Auto Mechanic ‘s missions are as follows:

•  Inspect a vehicle’s engine and its mechanical/electrical components to accurately diagnose problems;
•  Inspect vehicle on-board computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade;
•  Perform routine maintenance operations (replacement of fluids, lubrication of parts, etc.) to ensure the functionality and longevity of the vehicle;
•  Schedule upcoming maintenance appointments and advise the driver on the proper use of the vehicle;
•  Repair or replace damaged or defective parts and resolve problems (eg leaks);
•  Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.

 

 

SKILLS :

– Recognized experience as an automotive mechanic

– Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles

– Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods

– French and English, and Autonomous

– Very good interpersonal skills and sense of results

– Dynamism, show perseverance

– Excellent physical condition
