BUDGET AND EQUIPMENT MONITORING OFFICER

GENERAL MISSION
Under the authority of ORTOC’s Administrative and Financial Manager, the Budget and Equipment Monitoring Officer’s mission is to participate in the preparation of the budget, ensure the monitoring of the execution of the budget and budgetary procedures, Ensure the management of the material.
ACTIVITIES AND TASKS
Budget monitoring
Participate in the preparation of the budget.
Ensure compliance with budgetary procedures in accordance with the procedures manual
Write activity reports
Monitor budget execution
Develop dashboards for budget monitoring and variance analysis
Material management
Ensure the proper use of the equipment available to staff
Call the service responsible for repairing any broken down equipment
Organize the storage of equipment.
Ensure that the equipment is in good working order with the diagnosis of the technical manager/technician
Report to the hierarchy any loss, breakage or permanent deterioration of the equipment
Ensure the safety of the equipment on the premises (implementation of the safety protocol)
Ensure the implementation of maintenance contracts with technical partners
Anticipate needs for small equipment and office supplies and secure orders
Keep stocks of small equipment and consumables up to date (memory cards, external hard drive, USB keys, batteries, etc.)
Diploma/Training required/Experience
– Hold a degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
– Justify at least 3 years of experience in a Budget and Material Monitoring position or in similar professions.
Demonstrate good experience in the management of public finances
SKILLS – REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE – KNOW-HOW
Have good computer skills, the candidate must demonstrate at least two years of experience in a similar position.
Rigor, efficiency in the organization of work.
Ability to adapt and take initiative.
Management of priorities and deadlines.
Reliability of the information produced.
Sense of communication and analysis
Ability to prioritize tasks
Control of budget allocations and supporting documents.
Follow-up of payment deadlines and relaunch of services if necessary.
Participates in end-of-year accounting work
