RECRUITMENT NOTICE
1. Context
The field epidemiology training program in Cameroon “Cameroon Field Epidemiology Training Program” (CAFETP), is a training program with a sub-regional vocation (Central Africa), implemented in Cameroon since 2010 by the Ministry of Public health through the Directorate for the Fight against Disease, Epidemics and Pandemics. With the technical and financial support of the American government through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), CAFETP aims to strengthen the capacities of health personnel in terms of surveillance. epidemiology and responses to epidemics. The activities of this program are implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education, the animal health sector, technical and financial partners and implementation partners.

 




 

Care and Health Program (CHP) is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) created in 1996 and based in Cameroon. For more than 27 years, CHP has been involved in the field of prevention-related activities including STI/HIV/AIDS research, PMTCT, family planning activities, research, and community awareness raising. on pandemics, endemics, the fight against vandalism, drug consumption, etc. not only in Cameroon but also in Central and West Africa. In this context is a partner of CAFETP.
In order to facilitate the coordination of the administrative, logistical and programmatic aspects of CAFETP, CHP is recruiting a CAFETP Administrator
Position title: CAFETP Program Administrator
3 months trial before obtaining a fixed-term contract (CDD) of one ( 01) year renewable
2. Missions
Under the supervision of the Program Director
 Ensure the coordination of administrative and logistical aspects of program activities
 Ensure monitoring of the availability of program funds
 Assist coordinators in the strategic planning of program activities
3. Responsibilities
 Ensure the monitoring and updating of documents relating to the organization and operation of CAFETP
 Ensure the preparation of activity reports
 Ensure the availability of documentation
 Ensure archiving

 

 

 Ensure the organization of meetings
 Ensure the administrative and logistical organization of the selection of learners from different training levels
 Ensure monitoring of the availability of funds for the implementation of activities
 Participate in the planning of activities
 Participate in the preparation of administrative documents useful for training
 Supervise the activities of the administrative assistant, the office agent and the transport assistant
 Follow the agenda of the Program Director and the coordinators of three training levels
 Coordinate communication between the program and its partners at the national, sub-regional and international level
 Ensure the administrative and logistical management of the CAFETP office
 Any other task entrusted by the Program Director and the coordinators
4. Qualification and experience  
 License or equivalent diploma in the following areas: administration, finance, law, public health. An MBA in Project Management or Logistics would be an asset;

 Experience of at least 03 years in a similar position

 Mastery of office IT tools (MS office, Gsuite, etc.)
 Use of collaborative work tools (Dropbox, Teams, Zoom etc)
