Role Description and Summary
Serve customers promptly and courteously
Process payments and cash receipts
Process all cash transactions against authorized supporting documents
Receive and confirm money from customers
Pay cash to customers
Receive and confirm money money from the vault and banks
Recording and processing of cash deposits and withdrawals against vouchers
Perform a confirmation cash count at the end of the day to ensure a balance of physical cash and cash in the system
Skills and qualifications
At least a first degree (or its equivalent)
Experience working as a teller in a microfinance or banking institution
Experience using the teller module of any banking software
