TDR CHEF COOK

Role : Chef

Work location: Yaoundé, Cameroon

Type of contract : CDI

Conditions : Full-time

Work period : Annual Renewable

Trial period  : 3 months renewable once

CONTEXT

The ICCNET Group is recruiting a chef on behalf of one of its entities, whose responsibility will be to organize and manage the entire culinary production process.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES  :

Under the direct supervision of the entity’s Butler:

Kitchen

Develop and offer diverse and varied menus (African, Western cuisine)
Culinary production in compliance with the technical dish execution sheets and by supervising a team whose number and composition could vary
Control the quality of production in compliance with hygiene and food safety standards
Monitor stocks, participate in the development of budgets and make food purchases
Produce a statement of kitchen needs on a weekly and monthly basis and produce a product usage report.
Ensure the proper use of equipment;

Cleanliness

Ensure the cleanliness of your work space
Always wear clean clothing.
Ensure compliance with hygiene and sanitation rules in and around the kitchen.
Ensure the cleanliness of dishes and all kitchen utensils.

REQUIRED PROFILE :

Completion in cooking at least/ End of training diploma in hospitality, culinary arts option
Minimum 5 years of professional experience

Required knowledge  :

Excellent written and oral expression in the French language.
Skills in careful use of resources.

Expertise  :

Communication skills.
Sense of organization and rigor.
Responsiveness/proactivity/creativity
Respect of the serving times of the different meals

Required qualities  :

Sense of service
Communication
Initiative
Work with little or no supervision
Have a good ability to manage stress
Honest.
