Main responsibilities for the position of Chef de cuisine :
- Establish the map;
- Have a good command of European and African cuisine, and Cameroonian regional specificities;
- Establish the selling prices decided by the management;
- Develop technical sheets;
- Place orders and manage inventory;
- Controls and carries out the setting up and cleaning of the equipment of the team
- Respects and enforces health and safety rules
- Ensures the cleanliness of work and storage areas in compliance with HACCP standards
- Promotes the good relationship between the kitchen, the hall and the banquet
/. Animates all the kitchen staff and ensures that a good working atmosphere is created
/. Offers the highest restorative quality based on cost control
Requirements for the position:
- Proven experience in a similar position in a quality environment and able to demonstrate excellent people management skills
- Focused on business results
- Motivated and involved, you want to inspire the team to exceed expectations in terms of service
- Thoughtful individual with excellent communication skills and a creative mind
REQUIRED DIPLOMA : Technical training in a hotel school of the BTS type, Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent from a hotel school.
EXPERIENCE : Have at least 2(two) years of professional experience as Head Chef in a hotel of at least 2 stars.
