ACTIVA ASSURANCES is looking for the needs of its services 02 Chief Accountants 

Location : Douala-Cameroon 

Type of contract : CDI

ASSIGNMENTS

Reporting to the Head of Accounting and Tax Department. He will be in charge of supervising all tasks relating to the accounting management of his company: General and auxiliary accounting (Customers, Suppliers, keeping accounting books, etc.)
Job content

• Ensure proper bookkeeping   
• Supervise and control the accounting work of the team under his responsibility
• Conduct periodic analysis of accounts 
• Establish inventory work of accounting statements 
• Monitor banking and accounting transactions
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors 
• Follow customer and supplier regulations
• Follow customer and supplier regulations 
• Calculate and produce monthly and annual tax returns and declarations 
• Ensure the availability of black documents for review and audit work 
• Establish quarterly statements, the CIMA consolidation package (STATE CIMA) 
• Carry out the annual archiving of the accounting files of the previous financial year, after the closing
• Analyze the general accounts and ensure the follow-up of the regulations on time 
• Produce summary and reporting tables, tools necessary for strategic management 
• Ensure the effectiveness of bank reconciliations of all bank accounts,
• Ensure the daily follow-up and closing of the cash register 
• Manage and coordinate the activities of the accounting team

PROFILE

• BAC +5 diploma in Accounting Finance or any other equivalent diploma 
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in a similar position

Abilities

• Mastery of accounting techniques and rules 
• Mastery of the CIMA chart of accounts Good knowledge of tax law
• Have good knowledge of SAGE X3 software (would be a plus) 
• mastery of Google tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
•  team management
• Having knowledge of FRS standards would be an asset
