TDR COMMUNICATION MANAGER

 

Role : Communication Manager

Work location: Yaoundé, Cameroon

Type of contract : CDI

Conditions : Full-time

Work period : Annual Renewable

Trial period  : 3 months, renewable once

 




 

CONTEXT

For almost 25 years, the ICCNET group has been performing in the fields of telecoms, hospitality, finance and, more recently, industry, through 7 companies (Matrix Télécoms SA, ICCSOFT SA, RESYTAL, ADAC (Africa Data Center), LA VALLEE DE BANA, CCEC-SA, GFC).

It currently has 300 employees and is seeing appreciable growth, despite exogenous factors impacting the business environment in Cameroon.

In order to achieve its new ambition, namely to triple its annual turnover within the next five years, the group has reorganized itself by forming an active holding company, which will ensure the management and strategic development of its various subsidiaries.

 

 

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES  :

 

Under the supervision of the Marketing Director, he/she will be responsible for:

 

External communication

 

  •  Develop the External Communication Plan for the Holding Company and all its subsidiaries according to the guidelines defined by the Marketing Department.
  •  Ensure the participation of entities in events determined by the Marketing Department.
  •  Coordinate stakeholders (internal and external) involved in communication services
  •  Monitor developments in communication practices and techniques
  •  Set up a dashboard for monitoring and measuring these different actions and proposing areas for development or improvement
  •  Support the creation of videos and mini reports on each of the subsidiaries to be broadcast on the different platforms.
  •  Manage aspects related to communication for the events of each entity (workshops, conferences, etc.).
  •  Design communication supports (ie brochures, flyers, leaflets, radio spot, banners, posters, dissemination video).
  •  Contribute to the drafting of correspondence and presentation documents for the holding company in general.
  •  Contribute to the development of the communications department’s budget.
  •  Manage relations with the press (choosing high-audience media for specific communications, in particular the exhibition of products from the different subsidiaries) and partners.
  •  Ability to execute and follow a media plan
  •  Guaranteed the consistency of communication tools with the company’s strategy and graphic identity.
  •  Carry out all other tasks related to their functions and meeting their professional skills according to the needs of the company.

 

 

 

Internal communication

 

  •  Develop the Holding Company’s internal communications plan.
  •  Ensure the dissemination of internal information within the company according to access levels and the sensitivity of the information.
  •  Propose and validate the internal information distribution chain within the Holding and its various subsidiaries.
  •  Write and validate the various press releases.
  •  Develop press kits for different events on a case-by-case basis and in collaboration with the different subsidiaries and departments
  •  Supervise the production of visual supports (T-shirts, polo shirts, caps, pens).

 

 

REQUIRED PROFILE :

  •  Bac+5 in business communication or organizational communication.
  •  Certificate in infographics and web design.
  •  Certification in Community management.
  •  05 years of minimum professional experience in a similar position.

 

Required knowledge  :

  •  Excellent written and oral expression in the French language. Knowledge of the English language would be a major asset for this position.
  •  Mastery of visual creation software
  •  Excellent writing skills.
  •  a good knowledge of the different communication channels (social media, press relations, advertising, etc.) and their use according to the targeted targets,
  •  Use of collaborative tools (shared planning, Video conference).
