Who are we ?

The Cameroonian Association for Social Marketing (ACMS), member of the PSI network is a non-governmental organization under Cameroonian law whose main mission is to improve in a sustainable and measurable way the social situation of the Cameroonian population and to promote the health and family prosperity.

 

 

Thus, ACMS works in cooperation with the government and its partners in the public and private sectors to offer high quality health programs, reaching all populations in need. For more than twenty-five years, ACMS has provided the people of Cameroon with comprehensive, evidence-based public health interventions, including programs in reproductive health, malaria, and HIV prevention among others.

The EPIC project, which is recruiting, aims to prevent, prepare, respond and strengthen health systems to fight against COVID-19 and reduce cases of re-emergence.

Indeed, the EPIC Project is implemented in four (04) regions of Cameroon, namely the Far North, the North, Adamaoua and the East.

 

 

The oxygen component of the project has four strategic objectives which are:

To improve the policy, governance and financing frameworks for medical oxygen in Cameroon;
Improve the availability of medical oxygen and equipment in health facilities in Cameroon;
Improve the management and quality of care for hypoxemic patients in Cameroon;
Improve the data management system for the management of hypoxemia in Cameroon.
 

Your Contribution:

Support the development of project activities and strategy in the three components of vaccine, technical assistance and medical oxygen.
Provide technical assistance by building the capacity of project members to achieve results consistent with ACMS best practices and project strategy to ensure project sustainability.
Synthesize best practices from here and elsewhere and share them with the project team, the Ministry of Public Health and all stakeholders.
Provide technical expertise in the implementation of the project work plan.
Provide technical support in promoting and disseminating project information to the project team and stakeholders.
Provide technical support in the development and revision of documents, reports and presentations in accordance with donor guidelines for internal and external program needs.
Ensure regular briefing of project team members, CCOUSP, EPI, DOSTS on new information made available by WHO.
Participate in various meetings with partners.

The Basics:

Doctorate in Medicine or a Master in Public Health in public health or in Epidemiology;
Three (03) years of relevant professional experience in the vaccination deployment system in the Cameroonian context;
Have a good knowledge of the health system in Cameroon;
Have proven experience in the development of strategic documents in the field of health
Have a good command of computers and software (Word, power point, Excel);
Have results-based management skills.
