CRADEC (African Regional Center for Endogenous and Community Development) is a development support association governed by Cameroonian law. Its objective is to empower grassroots communities through various supports for the achievement of their development in relation to public policies.

CRADEC’s central mission is to spearhead tax justice in Cameroon’s development by enabling citizens and institutions to promote fair tax systems by influencing policy.

Thus, Tax Justice Network Africa (TJNA) through NORAD (Norwegian Agency for Cooperation for Development) provides technical and financial support for the implementation of the Project “Strengthening tax justice in Cameroon”, phase III with the following objectives:

– To have more inclusive, fair and responsible tax systems;

– To have a wide range of stakeholders advocating for tax justice;

– Strengthen the network in favor of tax justice issues.

In this context, CRADEC, an active member of EITI Cameroon, is looking for a consultant to conduct a study on transparency in the extractive sector in Cameroon to understand the challenges and opportunities related to the governance of these categories. This study could also contribute to promoting transparency and accountability in the Cameroonian extractive industry, as well as improving the participation of local communities in decision-making processes.
