JOB OFFER: CCA BANK SA is looking for: Credit Analyst – Douala

The position of Senior Credit Analyst is open within the Credit Department.
Mission

The main mission of the senior credit analyst is to identify, qualify and evaluate the bank’s credit risks.
Profile/Key Skills

-> Hold at least a diploma equivalent to a Baccalaureate+5 in banking risk control, global risk management and financial security, Banking and Finance and management science. Proof of experience of at least 03 years in managing a team.
He/She must have:

 




Technical skills

Know the techniques of mathematical and financial analysis, bank accounting, statistical tools;
Know the banking regulations relating to your activity (LCB-FT, Basel II and III, A);
Participate in the review of the standards and conditions for granting credits in your segment;
Know the banking professions/products/services;
Have a transversal vision of the profession;
Know how to use mathematical models;
Master the calculation of interest rate and liquidity risk indicators;
Control counterparty, credit, market and operational risks;
Master the software.

Behavioral skills

Have a sense of listening and synthesis;
Have rigor and open-mindedness;
Have the ability to work in a team;
Have a sense of risk management and concern for profitability;
Have a good sense of communication;
Have a sense of organization, planning and autonomy;
Have an analytical mind, attention to detail;
Have a sense of ethics and discretion;
Have public speaking and animation skills;
Strength of proposal and conviction;
Rigor in the collection and processing of data.

 




 

Main Responsibilities

Identify credit risks and evaluate them according to the types and nature of portfolio;
Measure risks, in particular by implementing assessment tools and carrying out studies to determine risk/profitability relationships;
Analyze and make modifications to existing procedures and/or propose new procedures in order to protect the bank from risks;
Contribute to the establishment of an alert system and an incident management procedure;
Implement and improve credit file rating/scoring tools;
Provide expertise on complex files;
Contribute to the development of the credit portfolio;
Design and development of tools to facilitate credit management by segment;
Carry out reporting to ensure monitoring of banking operations;
Implement the continuity plan in the event of incidents.

Position based in: Douala
