Recruitment notice: DEMAND & SUPPLY MANAGER – BEETLE HERITAGE HOLDING SA

BEETLE HERITAGE HOLDING SA is currently looking for a (01) DEMAND & SUPPLY MANAGER for its headquarters based in Douala .

The DEMAND & SUPPLY MANAGER attached to the Operations Department will be responsible for:

–           ensure that all demand forecasts are received, recorded and matched to firm demands.

–           Ensure strict compliance with the supply plan in the most effective and efficient manner possible.

–           Develop, maintain and improve a demand plan representing the most realistic estimate of internal customer demand for a portfolio of different categories.

 

 

–           Ensure alignment of this demand plan with internal partners through monthly business planning and collaborative planning processes.

–           Identify and manage exceptions; monitor performance to continually improve the quality and reliability of the demand plan and the company’s ability to detect and respond to changing circumstances.

Main activities

–           Follow MRP proposals, analyze supply and demand, and make appropriate recommendations to improve forecast accuracy.

–           With the support of the DEX, decide how orders should be processed based on the BHH group’s stocking strategy for each product category.

–           Based on the material resources planning system, establish BC projects, orders between sites

 

 

–           Establish and update the parameters of the material resource planning system and the characteristics of the items in the software (deadline, planning code, stock level, etc.)

–           Contribute to the establishment of the BHH group’s supply network.

–           Communicate information on the costs associated with the BHH Group inventory management policy and the benefits of quality planning and forecasting.

–           Contribute to the establishment of the inventory management policy for the BHH group, harmonizing it with operational constraints.

–           Analyze supply and demand at the different sites, discuss with the different site managers and agree on the actions to take.

–           Maintain data   and systems

–           Collect information and hypotheses

–           Manage the portfolio and life cycle

–           Achieve consensus through alignment

–           Track and manage demand

–           Measure and monitor performance

 

 

 

PROFILE

–           Academic level: Bac+4/5 in  Logistics, Commerce, Management  ;

–           Experience in planning and forecasting / Certification in project management would be an asset;

–           Professional experience: 03 to 05 years minimum in a similar position.

 

TECHNICAL SKILLS

–           Mastery of the techniques implemented in distribution logistics and inventory management;

–           Knowledge of port administrative procedures and maritime transport of goods;

–           Mastery of the regulations for maritime transport of goods (Incoterms);

–           Mastery of continuous improvement techniques;

–           Mastery of Supply Chain management tools used daily  ;

–           Good knowledge of new technologies for order and flow tracking, cost analysis, etc.;

–           Communication skills and ease, listening skills required for regular exchanges with suppliers;

–           Ability to negotiate  ;

–           Ability and capacity to supervise and lead a team;

–           Mastery of cost calculation and deadline evaluation techniques;

–           Comfort with numbers;

–           Fluency in English is essential.
