Who are we ?
The Cameroonian Association for Social Marketing (ACMS), member of the PSI network is a non-governmental organization under Cameroonian law whose main mission is to improve in a sustainable and measurable way the social situation of the Cameroonian population and to promote health and family prosperity. Thus, ACMS works in cooperation with the government and its public and private sector partners to deliver high quality health programs, reaching all populations in need. For more than twenty-five years, ACMS has provided the people of Cameroon with comprehensive, evidence-based public health interventions, including programs in reproductive health, malaria, and HIV prevention among others.

The recruiting COVID project aims to support the Cameroon Ministry of Public Health and other COVID-19 stakeholders, in the implementation of specific activities of the National COVID Vaccination Plan. This support will primarily focus on community engagement and COVID-19 vaccine demand, as well as the roll-out of COVID-19 vaccination awareness activities, including outreach vaccination and mass campaigns .
Indeed, the COVID Project implemented in the 10 regions of Cameroon aims to strengthen health systems in order to deal with COVID-19, increase the percentage of people vaccinated from COVID-19 within the target group and reduce cases. re-emergence among people aged 18 and over in countries that have adopted the Project.
Your contribution:
- Develop and implement plans and actions for the digitization of the project;
- Develop and implement the editorial plan strategy for the company’s various social networks: Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn;
- Create and produce the content of the various pages or websites (texts, articles, videos, computer graphics, visuals, contests) in order to develop brand awareness;
- Moderate and animate social networks in order to federate, retain and make interact between Internet users / consumers / fans around the project, and especially convey communication media on the activities carried out;
- Create and manage advertising campaigns (Facebook Ads, retargeting, display);
- Carry out information and competition monitoring (social media analysis) and regular audits in order to always perform better;
- Monthly monitoring of KPIs and campaign results, reporting and ROI analysis.
- Provide support for the marketing activities planned as part of the project, particularly on social networks;
- Work in synergy to put RCCE activities online;
- Provide the necessary data that may affect the achievement of results, with social communication stakeholders.
- Promote ethics in the management of material and financial resources of the project;
- Delicately use the material made available to him;
- Ensure compliance with the platform’s security rules;
- Any other task assigned by the supervisor.

The basics :
- Hold a Bac+3 diploma indigital communication & Community management and/or digital marketing.
- Have a professional experience of at least two (02) years in Communication or digital marketing or a certification in Digital Marketing by a recognized organization;
- In substitution of the required diploma: Have at least five (05) years of relevant professional experience in the field of digital communication & Community management and/or digital marketing;
- Have strong problem-solving skills;
- Have a good ability to plan and foresee potential and emerging obstacles;
- Have the ability to establish strong public relations and be comfortable communicating in a team;
- Have a high level of autonomy at work, but with a deep team spirit;
- Ability to work under pressure, with minimal supervision within a multicultural team;
- Demonstrate adaptability, patience, ingenuity, resilience and flexibility.
- Have results-based management skills;
- Be available to carry out regular field missions.
What would turn us on?
- Familiarity with social marketing and/or NGOs;
- Fluent in French and/or English and have a sufficient command of the other language;
- Good command of computers and software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel);
- Mastery of social networks (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook);
- Good knowledge of web writing;
- Passion for public health;
- Experience in international donor reporting, preferably USAID.
