The Cameroonian Association for Social Marketing (ACMS) is a non-governmental organization under Cameroonian law whose main mission is to improve the social situation of the Cameroonian population in a sustainable and measurable manner and to promote the health and prosperity of families. . The Cameroon Association for Social Marketing (ACMS) obtained funding from the “System to End the Malaria Burden Through Meaningful Engagement (SEMBE I)” of the United States Agency for Development (USAID) to support the National Program team Malaria Control Program (PNLP) to lead and implement evidence-based malaria prevention, diagnosis and treatment services at regional and community levels, focusing on the Far East region. Northern Cameroon. This project also strengthens the Government’s capacity to guide and promote local solutions in the fight against malaria in line with the objectives of the Republic of Cameroon and in support of USAID priorities described in the cooperation strategy for development of the country 2020-2025 (CDCS).
Based in the Far North region, the project will implement a sustainable and evidence-based approach to the control and elimination of malaria, through four objectives:
– Objective 1 : Increase access and use of quality malaria diagnosis, insecticide-treated bed nets (ITNs), and drug-based prevention and treatment services at the facility and community level. the community.
– Objective 2 : Increase the adoption of prevention and treatment-seeking behaviors for malaria and other febrile illnesses
– Objective 3 : Improve access to quality data on malaria and their use.
– Objective 4 : Strengthen health systems to optimize planning, coordination and management of the local response to malaria and other febrile illnesses.
Your Contribution:
- Design and implement digitalization plans and actions for the project;
- Develop and implement the digital strategy for the company’s various social networks: Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn in accordance with the lessor’s requirements;
- Create and produce the content of the different pages or websites (texts, articles, videos, infographics, visuals, competitions) in order to develop the notoriety of the project;
- Moderate and animate social networks in order to unite, build loyalty and make Internet users / consumers / fans interact with each other around the project, and above all convey communication supports on the activities carried out and planned;
- Create and manage advertising campaigns (Facebook and others;
- Carry out informational and competitive monitoring (social media analysis) and regular audits in order to always perform better;
- Monitor KPIs and results of digital campaigns monthly;
- Provide support for social mobilization and marketing activities planned as part of the project, particularly on social networks;
- Provide the necessary data that can affect the achievement of results to social communication stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with the platform’s security rules on digital data management;
- Contribute to the preparation, writing, implementation and evaluation of digital communication plans;
- Initiate and develop budgeted annual digital communication plans based on the SEMBE I Project plans;
- Initiate and manage the creation of design linked to Digital based on the lessor’s standards;
- Coordinate the development and implementation of all media and interpersonal communication campaigns for the SEMBE I Project
- Ensure the visibility of the project through the provision and deployment of digital communication supports;
- Perform any other task related to the activities assigned to you.

The basics :
- Required diploma: Hold a BTS in communication, digital or any other equivalent diploma;
- Have professional experience of at least three (03) years in digital communication ;
- In lieu of the required diploma : Have more than ten (10) years of relevant professional experience in digital communication ;
- Having good professional experience in communication and social mobilization in the field of malaria prevention and control would be an asset;
What would interest us?
- Familiarity with NGOs;
- Fluency in French and knowledge of English;
- Have good knowledge of IT tools;
- Passion for public health;
- Good interpersonal skills;
- Good oral and written communication skills for writing activity reports;
