GENERAL MISSION
Under the authority of the Tourism Marketing and Communication Manager, the Digital Promotion Manager’s mission is to animate all digital platforms and social networks in order to communicate, develop relations with the public and to increase the visibility of ORTOC and all its projects.
ACTIVITIES AND TASKS
Digital management
Propose and implement the strategic communication plan of the ORTOC network
Manage the digital communication of the ORTOC network in its various structures
Propose a management and communication strategy on the ORTOC multimedia platforms
Produce communication content (written, photographic, video, audio, visual) to be published on the ORTOC website and other digital platforms
Create and animate ORTOC accounts in social networks (Facebook account, Linkedn, Twitter, Instagram, Tiktok, Youtube, WhatsApp, etc.
Ensure that content and information on the website and social networks are updated
Monitor and analyze subscriber satisfaction and dissatisfaction indicators.
Boost the number of subscribers to the ORTOC website and social networks
Write activity reports
Animate the community and strengthen its cohesion Make existing members a relay of information within the community.
Manage the history and archiving of data contained on the site (information and documents transmitted by ORTOC or Internet users, photos, videos, soundtracks, etc.).
Research new social media to expand ORTOC’s influence.
Ensure the loyalty of Internet users via on-line events (newsletter, recruitment, internships, scholarships, tourist offers, etc.). Support the technical and functional development of the platforms
Monitor the conditions of use of the site, particularly with regard to prohibited content.
Report bugs in site functionality and ensure platform availability.
Coordinate with the technical teams the improvements to be made to the website platform.
Follow the audience of the different media.
Report on the communication actions undertaken
NB: At the request of his hierarchy, the Digital Promotion Officer may be required to carry out activities not provided for in this job description. These may be the activities of ORTOC or its partners.
Diploma/Training required / Experience
– Hold a BTS or DUT in marketing communication, journalism or equivalent.
– Justify at least 3 years of experience in a position of Community Manager, Promotion Manager or similar professions
SKILLS – REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE – KNOW-
HOW Have a good command of computers, social networks and the Internet tool.
Motivation for the touristic-cultural environment
Proficiency in social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer and Sprout Social
Proficiency in content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Spark and Pic Monkey Proficiency in social media analysis tools such as Google Analytics, SocialMedia Examiner and Sprout Social
Editorial skills and knowledge of the graphic chain
Dynamic, autonomous, rigorous and strength of proposal
Flexibility and good adaptability
Creativity, curiosity, versatility, organization
Skills in graphic design, photography and video will be highly appreciated;
Excellent spelling and syntax
Excellent oral and written expression in French and English.
