We are looking for a Driver Development Manager (DDO) (M/F)
• TYPE OF CONTRACT: CDI
• SERVICE: GARAGE
• SUPERVISOR: DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
• BREWERY BUSINESS SECTOR
• PLACE OF WORK: DOUALA
• OFFER DATE: August 07, 2023
ASSIGNMENTS:
• Develop a driver development program and follow it with all drivers
• Teach and train defensive driving skills to all drivers.
• Continuously assess drivers in the field and determine specific driving skills for specific areas of interest. (OJT)
• Perform routine route assessments with the driver and impart skills for Special Route Challenges (OJT)
REQUIRED SKILLS
KNOW
• Age: 35 to 45 years old
• Academic diploma: BACCALEAURATE + DRIVING LICENCE: B/BE/C/CE/D/DE
• Professional experience: At least 10 years as Line Driver
• Relevant experience: Holder of a defensive driving certificate or equivalent
Ability to communicate in French and English.
SKILL
• Proficiency with computers
• Defensive driving experience
• Ability to transmit knowledge and very articulate
• Mastery of root cause analysis modules (5WHY)
• Knowledge of gear train systems of various vehicle models
• Mastery of green strip driving techniques
• Traceable driver training history
• Good with SAP SOFTWARE
• Knowledge of SINOTRUCK brand trucks is an asset
EXPERTISE
• Good asset management skills
• Good communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good serpentine parking and driveway mooring skills
• Hard and very strict
• Organized and Innovative
