YOUTH DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION (YDF) is a non-profit and apolitical association whose objective is to contribute to the promotion of health in Cameroon. This association under Cameroonian law was created in 1996, it is the manifestation of the will of a group of young people to empower themselves. It participates in building the capacity of communities in the area of ​​SDSR, promotes rights and information on reproductive health, as well as related rights, and conducts related advocacy. Moreover, Y DF participates in the setting up of networks of useful and effective partners.
Y DF is Sub Recipient (SR) under the CHILL PROJECT funded by USAID, whose Principal Recipient is CARE and HEALTH PROGRAM (CHIP)

 




 

THE DROP-IN-CENTER MANAGER (DIC MANAGER)
Under the supervision of the Executive Coordinator, the DIC MANAGER will have the following tasks:
Criterion 1: Communication
Feedback to emails received from CHILL
Feedback to whatsapp messages, sms received from CHAMP
Writing emails in a Polite and courteous tone
Honor to invitations from CHAMP

 

 

Information on the functioning of the DIC: Departure on leave, absence…
Criterion 2: Organization of work
Transmission of the annual action plan
Transmission of the list of staff selected following the annual evaluation
Transmission the planning of the various internal meetings/CHlLL
Quarterly or monthly transmission of the schedules of activities in the field to the Site Coordinator
Transmission of the ToRs of the activities for validation 48 hours before the activity Transmission of the schedule of the various weekly meetings of the Stakeholders to the DIC: Mobilization, medical, case manager, etc.
Criterion 3: Supervision

 

Participation and involvement of the Dic manager in the weekly data collection meetings Availability of data on time with or without the presence of M&E, thus facilitating weekly collection
Appropriation of data by the Dic manager
Friendly working environment during supervision sessions
Monitoring of the activities of the various staffs according to the three 90s
Monitoring of activities according to the work plan Annual action and budget validated by Field
– Criterion 4: Reporting
Respect of weekly report transmission deadlines
Publication of weekly results on the whatsapp group of Dic Managers
Compliance with deadlines for transmission of monthly technical report

Compliance with deadlines for transmission of monthly financial report
Supervision and compliance with deadlines for transmission of monthly inventory management report (Inputs, lab equipment, prevention equipment, STI kits, ARVs )
Transmission to the Site coordinator of the report of monthly meetings Supervision transmission of activity reports on site.
Criterion 5: Evaluation of the quality of services
Participation in SIMS evaluation
Supervision of follow-up of SIMS recommendations
Participation in QAQI evaluation
Supervision of follow-up of QAQI recommendations Participation in DQA evaluation
Supervision of the follow-up of the recommendations of the DQA.
Criterion 6: Training, Documentation
Participation in the various training courses of Champ and its partners
Monitoring of the implementation and appropriation of these training courses
Dispatching of the Documentation and monitoring of its use
Transmission of any need for capacity building or training to the Site Coordinator.

 



Profile Wanted:
The position is open to anyone (male or female) who meets the following conditions:
Have at least the level of BAC+3, ideally accompanied by a university level diploma in social sciences;
Have at least 3 years of experience in the field of reproductive health and related fields•,
Experience in the design and management of community activities
Fluency in English and French orally, in writing and in reading;
Strong computer skills, including MS Office (especially Word, Excel and Outlook).
Very good strategy, analytical, systems thinking and problem solving skills with the ability to see the big picture and exercise judgment and make sound decisions. Very good relationship management skills. Ability to build relationships with people at all levels, both internally and externally.
Ability to lead diverse/multidisciplinary teams.
