Experienced hotel receptionist
We are looking for a Hotel Receptionist to act as the first point of contact for our clients and manage all aspects of their accommodation
You will be responsible for registering guests, managing reservations and providing information on rooms, rates and amenities. If you have a taste for customer service and professional experience in the hospitality industry, we would like to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Perform all arrival and departure duties
- Manage telephone and online reservations
- Record guest information (contact details, dates of stay, etc.)
- Greet guests upon arrival and assign rooms
- Provide information regarding the hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
- Respond to customer complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Liaise with housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully equipped to meet guest needs
- Confirm group bookings and arrange personalized services for VIP clients and event attendees, such as wedding guests
- Propose additional equipment and services, if appropriate
- Maintain booking and payment records
Desired skills:
- Work experience as a hotel receptionist or similar position
- Experience with hotel reservation software, such as Hotel Soft de Barcles, HotelPro, Hotis, iPlan etc…
- Knowledge of how booking sites work, such as Booking and TripAdvisor
- customer service attitude
- Excellent sense of organization and communication
