The General Management of LA MEC SA is recruiting for its Agencies in the western region one (01 ) COMMERCIAL experienced in the financing of agro-pastoral activities of microfinance   for an open-ended contract.

NB  : Commercial inexperienced in the field, please abstain .

The Mutual Savings and Credit of Cameroon, abbreviated as LA MEC SA , is a 2 ^nd category microfinance institution , with variable capital of FCFA 500,000,000 with 08 branches spread over the national territory.

Main mission of the position

Ensure the development and retention of customers by respecting legal and regulatory procedures in microfinance

            Job Descriptions

Ø  Develop the client portfolio;

Ø  Set up commercial actions with prospects or customers (breeders, farmers and others);

Ø  Advise customers on credit;

Ø  Maintain close relations with companies in the sector;

Ø  Sell the agency’s products and services;

Ø  Manage customer complaints;

Ø  Build customer loyalty and (revive dormant accounts)

 

 

 

 

Ø  Analyze and study credit files;

Ø  Monitor the repayment of loans granted by keeping the loan monitoring sheet;

Ø  Relaunch dormant customers and carry out recovery actions on new and old outstanding debts (telephone call, reminder letter, formal notice, closing invitation and closing report;

Ø  Produce monthly  activity reports;

Ø  Make descent for the location of land taken as collateral, home and place of business of customers seeking credit;

Ø  Set up loan agreements and credit set-up form after approval by the hierarchy;

Ø  Follow up with all insurance business contributors (cheques to be discounted) lost sight of.

Ø  Conduct field trips to visit customers;

Ø  Do 80% of field work (Prospecting, targeted visits, collections….Etc).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Profile required

 

Ø  Diploma: level of Bac + 2 to Bac + 5 (type BTS or Master) in Commercial action or other equivalent diploma.

Ø  Professional experience: At least 5 years of experience as a customer service representative in a Microfinance institution or any other financial institution.

Ø  Master the computer tool;

Ø  Speak in English and French

Ø  Perfect mastery of financial mathematics and have strong organizational skills

Ø  Have a mastery of computer and office tools (EXCEL-WORD and other banking software).

Ø  A perfect knowledge of the microfinance environment

Ø  Good knowledge of marketing and sales techniques

Ø  Good knowledge of banking techniques.
